Meet the handsome and intelligent Spencer! Spencer is one of those dogs that will never forget a friend. He loves his people very strongly and will always work to please his loved ones. Spencer is an official graduate of our Superstar Pup Academy and is ready to show off his skills in a real home. This boy is next-level smart and engages in active learning with his trainer and gaining a ton of confidence in doing so. Spencer would thrive in an active home that wants to continue working on his skills and providing him with the structure that he needs to be his best self! Weight: 72 lbs Spayed/Neutered: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Housebroken: Unknown, he is fairly tidy in the shelter but has never been to foster care for us to know for sure! Crate-trained: Partially! This is one of his many skills that he has begun to learn in our training program! Leash behavior: Good, and working on it! He is a fairly relaxed boy on walks and values his time to sniff! Dog sociability: They like them! They enjoy the company of dog friends, but would be just as happy to be an only dog in the home. Cat sociability: Unknown! Kid sociability: No thanks! Luke is so endearing with his sweet personality and cute underbite! He is approximately 6-7 years old and weighs between 40-15lbs. Good with other dogs and people, but no cats for this boy.  Rescue partner foster update:   Luke is one cool dude with a quirky grin. He gets super excited to go for a walk to explore the neighborhood and walks nice on his leash. He gets along with the resident dog and enjoys playing with toys with his foster Mom. (He can 'catch' quite well!)  Luke can be trusted alone in the home but, would rather not be away from his person and will 'howl' to let everyone know he misses you! Because he is vocal, he would not be suited for an attached resident such as apartment, condo or townhome. He will make someone a great 'velcro' companion!    We always recommend training for all our dogs!    **Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent. **Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance.
