BARLEY NEW YEAR NEW FRIEND ADOPTION SPECIAL $75 Barley is a 7.5-year-old, 60 pound, spayed female Mountain Cur mix that came to shelter as a stray. Her right ear is permanently folded down, due to an old hematoma. But, it doesn’t seem to bother her at all. She is a friendly and playful girl, who likes squeaky, plush toys and LOVES a good scratch, especially on the base of her tail. According to her finder, Barley didn’t appear to like other animals, but was comfortable and friendly around young children. Barley is UTD on all her shots & completely vetted. Barley has some separation anxiety, which foster has worked with her on. She is doing amazing. Would love to get her into a foster to adopt home, with someone who is home with her. Story
ANNIE MEW YEAR MEW FRIEND ADOPTION SPECIAL $100 Annie needs foster or adopter asap. Annie is an 1.5 yr old, 47# pound, female, Coonhound mix that came in to the shelter as a stray. She was running with another dog. Annie is a happy, playful girl that is friendly and enjoys being part of what her human is doing. She is working on her separation anxiety. She has plenty of energy, although not spastic, and is looking for an active family of her own. She experiences a little stress at first. But warms up quickly. We do want to reiterate that she was brought in with another dog, and she seemed to be fine with him. In her current foster home, she plays with the kitties and 2 of the dogs. Also, when she is out of the kennel in a play yard, she is very cuddly and happy towards people! Annie is utd on all vetting, spayed, chipped. Completely ready for her FUREVER home 💜 She would do best with older kids so she doesn't accidentally knock them down playing. Her adoption fee is $100. DINKLEY - HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS ADOPTION SPECIAL $100 Dinkley will need a special adopter. Someone that can care for his special needs. He is a 1.5 YRS old, 40 pound catahoula mix. He is very energetic and definitely needs help learning his puppy manners still. He is very, very smart. He enjoys wobble feeders, kongs, and puzzle toys. He has not been formally dog tested yet but we are happy to get that officially done, at a later date. After a few initial barks he settled down during a through-fence meeting. Dinkley is just a baby and deserves to live for as long as his heart will let him. Hopefully, he can live a long life with proper medical care! Dinkley has been diagnosed with possible Pulmonary Stenosis. It is under control and the vet feels he has a full life a head of him. He will need to see the cardiologist probably twice a year for follow up. His adoption fee is $100.
