Story
Diesel is 16 months old, some kind of cur. He loves the outdoors, and playing with his toys, especially tug! A laser light will entertain for hours. He is house broke, and crate trained. He enters his crate with “go to bed” command. Rarely ever cries or barks in his crate. He also sits and waits to be released to eat. He does guard his food a little so we feed him separately. He plays well with our senior dog and another small dog his age. Lives with 2 cats, they tolerate each other. He is a counter surfer so we need to keep in attended food off the counter. Diesel will do best in a home with older children who can understand to respect his space and boundaries.

Story
ANNIE = SOLAR ECLIPSE ADOPTION SPECIAL THRU OCTOBER 29, 2023 - $100 Annie needs foster or adopter asap. Annie is an 1.5 yr old, 47# pound, female, Coonhound mix that came in to the shelter as a stray. She was running with another dog. Annie is a happy, playful girl that is friendly and enjoys being part of what her human is doing. She is working on her separation anxiety. She has plenty of energy, although not spastic, and is looking for an active family of her own. She experiences a little stress at first. But warms up quickly. We do want to reiterate that she was brought in with another dog, and she seemed to be fine with him. In her current foster home, she plays with the kitties and 2 of the dogs. Also, when she is out of the kennel in a play yard, she is very cuddly and happy towards people! Annie is utd on all vetting, spayed, chipped. Completely ready for her FUREVER home 💜 She would do best with older kids so she doesnt accidentally knock them down playing. Her adoption fee is $250. Story
BARLEY - = SOLAR ECLIPSE ADOPTION SPECIAL THRU OCTOBER 29, 2023 - $100 Barley is a 7.5 year old, 60 pound, spayed female Mountain Cur mix that came to shelter as a stray. Her right ear is permanently folded down, due to an old hematoma. But, it doesn’t seem to bother her at all. She is a friendly and playful girl, who likes squeaky, plush toys and LOVES a good scratch, especially on the base of her tail. According to her finder, Barley didn’t appear to like other animals, but was comfortable and friendly around young children. Barley is UTD on all her shots & completely vetted. Barley has some separation anxiety, which foster has worked with her on. She is doing amazing. Would love to get her into a foster to adopt home, with someone who is home with her. Story
This sweet dog needs someone who works from home or can come home for lunch. I got him 2 weeks ago online from a family that couldn’t keep him due to small kids moving in and apparently he’s too crazy for small kids. I love him but my situation changed abruptly and I am not able to be home enough for him. He is well trained (sit, shake, lie down), highly food motivated. Crate trained. Loves the cat but wants to eat the cat food. Very protective so he will growl at some people until he meets them. Loves to play fetch & tug-of-war! He is a very good dog but I cannot afford daily dog care and he really needs to be let out a couple times a day (obviously).
