Meet the handsome and intelligent Spencer! Spencer is one of those dogs that will never forget a friend. He loves his people very strongly and will always work to please his loved ones. Spencer is an official graduate of our Superstar Pup Academy and is ready to show off his skills in a real home. This boy is next-level smart and engages in active learning with his trainer and gaining a ton of confidence in doing so. Spencer would thrive in an active home that wants to continue working on his skills and providing him with the structure that he needs to be his best self! Weight: 72 lbs Spayed/Neutered: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Housebroken: Unknown, he is fairly tidy in the shelter but has never been to foster care for us to know for sure! Crate-trained: Partially! This is one of his many skills that he has begun to learn in our training program! Leash behavior: Good, and working on it! He is a fairly relaxed boy on walks and values his time to sniff! Dog sociability: They like them! They enjoy the company of dog friends, but would be just as happy to be an only dog in the home. Cat sociability: Unknown! Kid sociability: No thanks! Luke is so endearing with his sweet personality and cute underbite! He is approximately 6-7 years old and weighs between 40-15lbs.  Rescue partner foster update:   Luke is friendly and well mannered, good with people and dogs, but no cats. He loves going for walks and is a calm and 'chill' dog! He sadly lost his home when his family decided having a baby on the way and a dog was too much work. He steals the hearts of all who meets him!  We always recommend training for all our dogs!    **Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent. **Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. Please ensure your current pets are up to date with vetting, have landlord/HOA approval and are prepared to take your new family member home at the adoption appointment.  Thank you for your interest!                    If you are interested in adoption, please complete the "Application to Adopt" which can be accessed from this link: (   www.magnificentmutts.org )  No phone calls please, emails only. Apricot is a loving, cuddly girl with a playful, curious side that makes her so fun to be around. She’s incredibly food-motivated, which makes her eager to learn and very responsive—she quickly picks up on routines and expectations. She loves to snuggle (especially during thunderstorms!) and has grown more affectionate and confident every day. Apricot enjoys being close to her people but is also perfectly content relaxing on the couch or dog bed with Peaches. Despite her curiosity, she has a calm, easygoing temperament and has adjusted beautifully to home life. She does not bark at people and remains relaxed around everyday activity like cars and bikes passing by. Apricot is doing great with her routine and continues to thrive in a home environment. Apricot would do wonderfully in a home that appreciates both her affectionate nature and her eagerness to learn—she’s the kind of dog who bonds deeply and brings a lot of love into the home.
