Story
Please take the opportunity to meet this 1 year-old mountain cur mix ready to spring into action and right into your heart. There is never a dull moment when you have Larry around. He is a perfect medium sized dog, weighing around 51 pounds. The fun does not stop there. Larry is a really cool dude and does well with other dogs and enjoys children too. He has some spunk with his medium/high energy, and he completely enjoys playtime with other dogs. Since coming into rescue, Larry has not had the opportunity to be introduced to cats. He will benefit from a family that will devote their time and energy in providing Larry with steady exercise, continued training and lots of socialization. There are many great things ahead for Larry and he is ready to embrace all the experiences that go hand in hand with having a loving and devoted family. He is stepping up to the plate and has started working on his crate and leash training. He knows that victory is around the corner and each day he will practice with the help of his family. He is treat motivated so that will be a useful tool in assisting with positive reinforcement training. His hard work has already paid off for him because he has mastered his house training.Great ready to have the ideal canine pal as a loving addition to your family. There are so many things for Larry to enjoy and look forward to. He can envision the perks of family outings, hiking adventures or just regular play sessions that will span over the years. All wrapped up in loving memories not only for him but also for his forever family. The adoption fee for Larry is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue, and transport fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. Story
WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Christie - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hello, my name is Christie, and I am a baby girl of around 4 months who was found on the side of the road in a crate very emaciated, dehydrated and full of fleas. But with just a small amount of care and love, look at me now...happy and healthy!!! I am a sweet, adorable, and adventurous pup who loves to play! I love to run around and explore, but I'm also very affectionate and love to cuddle up with my favorite people. I am full of energy and very curious about the world around me, and I am just waiting to find a forever home where I can put my puppy adorableness to good use... wrapping you around my lil paw! I come in at about 11lbs and will be a pawsomely perfect mediumish size when I get myself all the way growed up. Perfect for sharing in ALL your adventures from the mundane daily to the weekend exciting!! I love to meet new people and do great with both the tall and small versions but remember I do have sharp lil teeth and nails. I do great with other pups too although I haven't had the pleasure of meeting any of those strange creatures y'all call a cat yet. At my tender age and introduced properly I should be fine with them also! If you are looking for a playful, sweet, and adventurous pup to join your family, look no further than me, Christie! I am sure to bring joy and love to your life. Here's to new beginnings and happy tails!" Lots of puppy antics and kisses, Christy ** Oh and BTW, my adoption application can be found at haydudeequine.org

Story
Sage is a 9.5 month old female Mountain Cur mix who weighs around 50 lbs. She was surrendered back to us after her owner could no longer care for her and is now searching for that forever home she so desperately wants. Sage is nervous around new people especially men and is still learning to trust again with our volunteers. She is doing great with everyone at the facility now and loves to give kisses! Sage does well with other dogs once she’s comfortable and is learning how to socialize. She’s a smart, sweet pup who will need a patient and dedicated adopter who will continue to work with her because we know she’s an amazing pup, she just needs to be given a chance! Sage is spayed, fully vetted and microchipped. If you’re interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at https://packleadersrescue.com/adoption-application/

Story
Sheldon is a little over 1 year old and a Mountain Cur mix who weighs around 75 lbs. He has been with us for over 9 months now and still hasn’t found a home. Sheldon is still a very shy and anxious pup around new people (no aggression though!) but once he starts to trust and know you, he is super sweet. In his current foster home, Sheldon loves to sit and look out the windows watching the cars and people outside. He LOVES treats and knows some basic commands as well. While Sheldon does enjoy his playtime, he also equally enjoys downtime resting on the couch. He’s a gentle pup who just loves to be close to you and get all the love and affection he deserves. Sheldon would do best in a home with children over the age of 12 given his shy demeanor. Sheldon is neutered, fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped.
