She was surrendered back to us after her owner could no longer care for her and is now searching for that forever home she so desperately wants. Sage is nervous around new people especially men and is still learning to trust again with our volunteers. She is doing great with everyone at the facility now and loves to give kisses! Sage does well with other dogs once she’s comfortable and is learning how to socialize. Sheldon is a little over 1 year old and a Mountain Cur mix who weighs around 75 lbs. He has been with us for over 9 months now and still hasn’t found a home. Sheldon is still a very shy and anxious pup around new people (no aggression though!) but once he starts to trust and know you, he is super sweet. In his current foster home, Sheldon loves to sit and look out the windows watching the cars and people outside. He LOVES treats and knows some basic commands as well. While Sheldon does enjoy his playtime, he also equally enjoys downtime resting on the couch. He’s a gentle pup who just loves to be close to you and get all the love and affection he deserves. Sheldon would do best in a home with children over the age of 12 given his shy demeanor. Sheldon is neutered, fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped.
