Likeability is always a good thing and when you have a charisma as well as approachability to match it, you are golden. It is the trifecta effect and these cuties have it in spades. Now that we have your attention. please take the opportunity to meet this 6-month-old mountain cur mix litter ready to spring into action and right into your heart. There is never a dull moment when you have Larry around. He is around 29 pounds and is expected to be a large, somewhere over 50 pounds, when fully grown. The fun does not stop there. Larry is a really cool dude and does well with other dogs and enjoys children too. He has some spunk with his high puppy energy, and he enjoys playtime with his playmates or with his play toys. Since coming into rescue, Larry has not had the opportunity to be introduced to cats. He will benefit from a family that will devote their time and energy in providing Larry with steady exercise, continued training and lots of socialization. There are many great things ahead for Larry and he is ready to embrace all the experiences that go hand in hand with having a loving and devoted family. He is stepping up to the plate and has started working on his crate and leash training. He knows that victory is around the corner and each day he will practice with the help of his family. He is treat motivated so that will be a useful tool in assisting with positive reinforcement training. His hard work has already paid off for him because he has mastered his house training. It is important to remember that although Larry is house trained, accident can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. Great ready to have the ideal canine pal as a loving addition to your family. There are so many things for Larry to enjoy and look forward to. He can envision the perks of family outings, hiking adventures or just regular play sessions that will span over the years. Story
Meet Lucy, a delightful 2.5-year-old, 50-pound mountain cur mix bursting with love! Lucy’s owner sadly has dementia and could no longer care for her. However, Lucy had been a beloved member of the family since she was a puppy, and it shows in her good manners and sweet nature.Lucy is a playful girl who loves nothing more than running around the yard with her canine companions. She’s also a fan of leisurely walks and is equally content lounging on the couch, snuggled up with her favorite humans.Lucy is house trained and leash trained, and she knows not to jump on people. She’s incredibly sweet and adores people of all ages. Plus, her friendly nature extends to other dogs; she’s a great playmate and gets along well with them.If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and well-mannered companion to add joy to your home, Lucy might just be the perfect match for you!Lucy’s adoption fee is mostly sponsored by the generous family of her owner.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.May 7, 2024, 9:02 pm
