Story
Cletus was plucked off the streets as a very young pup. He is a super chill, very laid back puppy who is downright lazy at times. Cletus is very dog and cat friendly, having never seemed to meet a dog he doesnt like. He does run and play, but honestly he is happiest taking a nap on the couch. We do not know Cletus' pedigree and the breeds listed are purely a guess. He looks more Brindle Mountain Cur than anything else, but he does have big feet. The guesses are due to his laziness, his feet size, and his coloring. We have no clue as to how big he will get. Cletus is crate trained and does not make a mess. He hasnt had an "accident" in the house in about a month, so we are cautiously calling him housebroke. He is not a barker, but does get excited when the others bark. He gets moments of puppy energy and usually makes a nuisance of himself with the bigger dogs by licking them in their faces. He is such a floppy, loveable guy and his coloring is gorgeous. We require an application and a vet check for our adoptions.

What’s your favorite flower? Well, we’ve got a whole arrangement for you to choose from! Found in San Marcos, Texas, these little buds came to SNIPSA as bottle babies. Now, after a few weeks in foster care, they are ready to open up and soak in the spring sunshine with YOU! A mixed bunch, we see traits of both the Catahoula Leopard Dog breed and the Shepherd breed in this group of nine. They will be medium or large-sized dogs that will retain a playful and loyal temperament as they grow. Catahoulas, originally bred to hunt hogs, are naturally energetic and intelligent. So, in addition to their pretty petals, you can expect your new companion to flourish in their new home, given adequate training and exercise! Spring brings new beginnings, and in this case, a new bestie. Just pick one and apply today!

Story
To let my legs run someplace in the sun, I’d spring and play until the day was done. Oh, to rest in the evening breeze close to the ones I love–that is my dream! We are Sunny and Drew, two Pointer/Hound pups rescued in November 2024. Since coming into SNIPSA’s program, we have found our stride and have never been happier! In our foster home, we are the perfect blend of playful energy and cuddly charm. If we are not wrestling around together, we are napping in a dogpile or snuggling up to the first human we can find. Our foster has us on our best behavior…we have learned our potty manners and are working to master all our commands, too! We even ride perfectly in the car on our trips to the SNIPSA office or adoption events. While our breed is not certain, there is no denying we are friendly (even with cats!), active, and goofy. One or both of us would make great family pets. We are holding fast to our dream to find our forever home! Could it be with you? Apply to meet one of us today!
