Story
Meet Tiger! 🐯🐾 This handsome boy has quite the comeback story. Tiger was dumped right before the freeze, but thankfully he was rescued and brought into a temporary foster home where he proved what a gem he is — getting along great with dogs and cats alike. From there he went to ACS, and we were so happy to pull him and bring him to safety. Now he’s living his best life at the rescue and soaking up all the love! Tiger is SO happy and outgoing — the kind of dog who greets the world with a wagging tail and a big smile. He truly gets along with everyone he meets and is always ready to make a new friend, human or furry. He’s about 7 months old, weighs 28 pounds, and looks like a Mountain Cur mix. We expect he’ll be around 35–40 pounds full grown, making him the perfect medium-sized adventure buddy. Tiger is playful, social, and full of joy — ready to leave his rough start behind and start his happily ever after with a family of his own. 💛

Story
Harley is in desperate need of rehoming.  Her owner has lost their home and we do not have the resources to take care of her.  She is 10 months old, Mountain Cur mix, 55 lbs.   She is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.  She is VERY active and VERY playful.  She gets along with other dogs.  She has a kennel, harness & leash.  Unfortunately, she spends a great deal of time in a kennel in an un-air conditioned, unheated shed because we do not have a fenced in back yard and cannot walk her as much as she deserves.

These pups are in Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas too!

Story
WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🌸🐾 Meet Shirley — A Soft Soul with a Big Heart (and a Little Extra Fluff) 🐾🌸 Shirley is a June 2023 baby, weighing in at about 60 pounds — though her ideal weight is closer to 50 (she’s currently rocking that “well-loved” look 😄). She’s spayed, fully vetted, and comes with what can only be described as an impressively solid resume for a family dog. Shirley checks all the important boxes: ✅ Good with other dogs ✅ Great with kids ✅ House trained ✅ Up to date on vaccines ✅ Loyal, loving, and well-mannered ✅ Professional belly-rub enthusiast At first, Shirley can be a teeny bit shy — the kind of girl who likes to observe before jumping in — but give her a moment and she’ll melt right into you. Once she trusts you, she’s all about the belly rubs, quiet companionship, and loyal sidekick energy. She’s sweet, gentle, and has a calm presence that makes her a joy to be around. She’s the kind of dog who doesn’t need to be the center of attention — she just wants to be near her people, soaking up love and offering it right back. Whether it’s lounging at your feet, joining you for a walk, or quietly supervising household activities, Shirley is happy just being part of a family. And yes… she could stand to lose a few pounds — but honestly, that just means more motivation to strap on that fitbit and getting your steps in... together, right? 😉 Shirley is ready for a home where she can feel safe, loved, and cherished — a place where she can finally settle in and be someone’s “good girl” for life. Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give Shirley the forever home she so deeply deserves. 🐾💖

Story
Meet Bunny 🤍 Bunny is a 5-month-old Shepherd / Catahoula mix weighing about 53 pounds and already showing what an amazing dog she is becoming. She was born on a ranch to a stray mama dog who later disappeared, but the family lovingly cared for her and her siblings as they grew. Raised around cows, horses, and cats, Bunny is wonderfully socialized and fantastic with other animals. She is submissive, playful, and so incredibly sweet. Bunny gives the tiniest little kisses and has the most gentle, loving energy. She’s happy, easygoing, and eager to connect — just a truly lovely soul. I am honestly so impressed with her personality and temperament. She’s the kind of pup that makes you excited about the future because you just know she’s going to be something special. 🤍
