This is Nutmeg! a 5 yo Mountain Cur Mix who loves attention and LOTS(and i mean lots) of exercise. I have had Nutmeg since she was a young puppy that was abandoned and has grown up with my child since birth so she is good with children. We do not have the space or free time to give her the enrichment she very much needs, so our family has decided that it would be best to rehome her to someone who can truly keep up with her pace. She loves to be groomed and is very affectionate towards others. she cannot hang with ANY cats whatsoever, so its best if she lived in a home without one. She has A LOT of energy so if you want to hang, you would need to put time into her.

My story started on a property with a bunch of unfixed adult dogs. It wasn’t an easy beginning. Almost all of my littermates didn’t make it—they were lost to the heat and parasites. Somehow I held on. I’m the one who made it out. And now? I’m happy. Really happy. Healthy, full of energy, and so excited for what’s next. I’m the kind of dog who greets every day like it’s the best one yet. I love people, I love other dogs, and I especially love water. Puddles, sprinklers, baths, lakes… if it’s water, I’m in it. You’ll probably catch me standing in the middle of a rainstorm with a goofy grin on my face like I just won the lottery. I’m super sweet and easygoing.
