Story
Say hello to Fry! This handsome boy absolutely loves people and gets so excited to come out and play. Fry has been great on our Reading to the Dogs and Cats days and loves listening to the kids read to him! He is very passionate about his food and will do just about anything for a treat. Fry knows a few commands and is still working on some basic obedience. He is a smart boy and we believe he will quickly pick up on new skills with consistent training. This sweet boy has already been through a lot in his life and is very deserving of a forever home! Fry is a Mountain Cur mix, weighs 71 pounds, and was born on 8/9/2017. Before adoption, Fry will be neutered, microchipped, current on all vaccinations, and take preventive flea/tick/heartworm medicine. As with all of our dogs, Fry must be an indoor dog. If you are interested in adopting Fry, please email bahshelter@yahoo.com. If there are other dogs in your home, we require a meet and greet, which you can schedule via email at bahshelter@yahoo.com. If you cannot attend your scheduled visit, please let us know. Thank you!

Story
Jyn is an extremely smart dog, but does not get along with other animals. We have other pets that we had before her, so we need her to go to a loving home with no other animals. She has not been around small children, so we do not know how she would be, but we personally would be nervous with her around them. Jyn is extremely well trained, knows many commands, loves toys, and is very treat-oriented, so she could be easily trained to do more. She loves going outside and would be a good walking companion. She does need a lot of space and attention. She will sit with you and sleep in the bed with you if you like, but is also good in dog beds. She is crate trained, but does not need to be locked up if you leave. She doesn't tear up things other than toys and does not counter surf. She gets the "zoomies" and loves to run, chase, and be chased.

Story
Hi, I’m Jameson and you haven’t lived until you’ve shared cuddles with me. I turned 2 in January 2023 and to say I’m full of energy is an understatement! I’m neutered and come from a family of Mountain Cur/Australian Cattle dogs. I love cuddles and belly rubs and will often lay next to you in bed or on the couch. Playing fetch with my squeaky toys and chasing balls are some of my favorite pastimes. I will never say no to a good game of tug-of-war and there is nothing more that I love than a good bike ride and spending time with my family. When I’m not running around the backyard, I can usually be found snuggled up with my favorite human or toy. I’m great with kiddos and enjoy the company of other furry friends! I’m as loyal as they come and who are we kidding, I’m a handsome pup. If you're active and love the outdoors as much as I do, we’d be a great fit!

These pups are in Seguin, Texas too!

Story
My name is Lil Man aka Deuce. Deuce for two since I'm getting a second chance at life after being in the shelter. My foster Dad says I'm living life to the fullest and trying really hard at forgetting my first life. I'm still shy around some people but my foster has been teaching me to be less fearful of strangers. People always say how beautiful my brindle coat is. I'm very smart and will sit and speak for my treats, I am learning to play ball and will jump in the air to get it! I'm still working on the bring it back all the time, every time. But I'm working on it! I get along well with other dogs and I'm a great watch dog. I like to make sure my people are safe and taken care of. I love being outside in the sun and playing with my dog foster siblings. I have a zest for life and like to go for walks and runs and to play in the river. I'm potty trained and stay out during the day in the sunshine. At night I like to sleep inside with my pals. Whoever adopts me will have to be a little patient and continue working with me on my shyness at times. New things are scary and I need you to show me it's going to be ok. My perfect home would have a nice fenced yard, and maybe a doggy door so I can go in and out on my own. I'll probably do better with another dog in the household, I really like friends. I would love someone to play fetch with me or take me to the river and swim.
