WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Cameo - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Cameo, a beautiful name for a beautiful gal like me. I have the sweet natured attitude that will make me a great family addition. At 2 years old, I'm also at a great age where as I'm still playful but way past that destructive puppy stage. That sure makes for a nice combo for my new family. Oh and another nice thing...I'm already house trained too!! I have an amazing tiger striped pattern in my coat and show stopping amber colored eyes which make for a stunning combo!! My hairytage of the Mountain Cur and the Plott hound makes for the beautiful swirling stripe pattern of my coat, a genetic characteristic. My personality is sweet, sweet, sweet and I am very human oriented. I love giving and getting kisses and spending time with my people. Also, for a medium sized dog of 55ish lbs, I am a great snuggler!! I will wrap myself around my Foster Mum and delight in the attention!! I will stay there snuggling for as long as she has time! I walk well on leash and know how to sit and stay. I have great focus and pay attention really well. I am a people pleaser and will try to do whatever it takes to make you happy!! I get on well with most all other doggies and enjoy romping in the yard getting a good game of keep away or tag you're it going but I LOVE hoomans and haven't met a stranger yet, I'm pretty sure everyone is here just to give me lots of lovins!! :) I'm a great size to make you a pawsome action adventure type companion, whether it's going for neighborhood strolls, camping trips or hikes in the wilderness, I'm willing and ready! And then after our fun, I love my beloved snuggles by the fireplace (on the couch is fine too). I'm up for trying it all with...YOU!! If you are looking for a "dog of a different color", then look no further!! I for sure want to be your gal!!

Story
Mia is a beautiful 47 pound Mountain Cur Labrador Retriever mix. She is about 2 years old and is a very playful and extremely smart. She enjoys running in the sun and playing with her friends. Don’t let her activeness fool you though, she loves her cuddles and kisses. Her entire body wiggles when she wags her tail! She would be great in a home with a bigger dog, that respects boundaries. She has a wonderful temperament and plays with all the dogs in her group. She has great dog social skills, but expects others to show her the same. She gives lots of kisses, does great in the car and on a leash. We all totally in love with her, and she is ready for her own home! Her brother Boone was adopted and now its her turn! Mia was confiscated by police for total neglect and abuse along the border of Mexico. Both Mia and Astrid were nursed back to health by our techs and wonderful volunteers. There is nothing that would make them more happy than to wake up in a warm loving home. You can watch another video of Mia here: https://youtu.be/fcMs0Nj_pYk?si=rGwqEwbwBvVBE9E0 Mia is located in Hondo, Texas and a meet and greet can be scheduled with approved application! Story
Looking to find a forever home for my sweet boy. He was originally my uncles who passed recently and i’ve been fostering because I didn’t want him in a shelter, however i have two cats and my landlord won’t let me have a third animal. He’s a sweetheart and very affectionate, loves cuddles, car rides, trips to the dog park and hiking. He’s good about bathing and brushing his teeth. He’s not the best on the leash, but he learns quickly. He would be great for anyone who currently has a dog and looking for a second as he loves other dogs. If you’re interested in adopting him send me a message and we can discuss if you’re a good fit for him.
