ALL PETS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE DALLAS/FT WORTH METROPLEX MEET AND GREET APPOINTMENTS SET UP WITH PRE-APPROVED APPLICATION ONLY Puppy Policies: We do not adopt puppies under 6 months of age into apartment homes or homes without a fenced yard. All children in the home must be at least 5 years of age. We appreciate your understanding of these policies. Cheyenne is one sweet girl who loves attention! Chin scratches are at the top of her “favorites” list as you can see. She arrived from the Laredo shelter where she shared a kennel with Hammy who also joined RT4P. So far we know she likes other dogs and kids! She is potty trained and has already conquered the doggie door. She does really well in her crate too … she is only 8 months old after all so we think she is doing great Like all puppies, Cheyenne needs an adopter who is willing to train and work with her to help her be the best dog she can be. If you would like to meet Cheyenne, the first step in the process is to complete an application. Please go to roadtrip4paws.com and click on the Adopt tab to find a link to our online application. Story
Meet Biscuit III â&#194&#128&#194&#147 the silliest and most playful 2-year-old Mountain Cur pup youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll ever lay eyes on! This goofy girl is equal parts affectionate snuggle bug and energetic explorer. With her floppy ears, sparkling eyes, and adorable clumsiness, Biscuit is sure to steal your heart from the moment you meet her. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s up-to-date on all her vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped, so sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s ready for her forever home! Biscuit is always ready for her next adventure, whether thatâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s a romp at the dog park or a cozy cuddle session on the couch. While she loves to play, Biscuit is also professionally trained and takes direction well. She gets along great with older, calmer dogs, but sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s been known to put a puppy in its place. Biscuit is still learning her size and strength, so while she is good with young children, she would do best with older kids who can match her high energy levels. An ideal home for Biscuit would have an active family and a large securely fenced yard for her to explore and burn off that young dog energy. This smart cookie is already crate-trained, leash-trained, and house-trained, making the transition to her new home a breeze. As mentioned, she has been professionally trained and knows commands like sit, stay, come, heel, etc., and is always eager to learn new tricks. Biscuit is an affectionate pup who loves to cuddle up with her people at any time of day. She would thrive in a home with owners who can provide her with plenty of exercise, socialization, and lots of quality time. Unfortunately, our young son has been recently diagnosed with a severe allergy to dogs that has caused health issues. Since the diagnosis, she has been restricted to limited interaction and a lack of freedom to roam around the house and to enjoy just being a dog! It is a heartbreaking decision, but we know that we need to do what's best for Biscuit and help find her a family who will love her well and allow her to live her best life! Biscuit would make a wonderful addition to any family! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you have a specific question about Biscuit III, then please email newdigs@dallaspetsalive.org. Story
Athena is around 6 years old. She was rescued as a puppy from questionable living conditions and we've had her ever since. She's a gorgeous, loving soul. Highly Intelligent. A Huntress of Bunnies. Protective. She'll bark at passerby's if the blinds are open. She likes being close and curling up next to you to take a nap. She's anxious. Often, we'll find her tail tucked between her legs and don't know why. She'll bark at strangers, but tends to warm up within the first couple hours. We've done my best to help her with solely positive reinforcement training but, we are just not home enough to give her the time and exercise she needs, and I'm hoping someone can give her a better life than we are able to. She did fine with my sister's 80lb American Bulldog, when they warmed up to one another, but she's not doing well with the 30lb Australian Shepard, and cat in the home. We think she'd be best solo, or in a home with bigger dogs. We love her and we know you will too. Story
We adopted Biscuit as a puppy from a shelter during a work event a little under 3 years ago. Back then, our job situation was different--my wife and I both worked from home and had much more time to devote to Biscuit. Today, we have both new roles which require us to return to office full time and travel 2-3 weeks out of the month. We are unable to provide Biscuit with enough time, attention and exercise that she needs. Additionally, the latest development (and catalyst to pursuing rehoming) is that we found out our son is allergic to her and has caused health issues. Biscuit is very sweet and loves humans. She generally does well with older dogs but not puppies. She is not aggressive with children. However, she is still learning her size and often does not realize how strong she is, and can be a little clumsy and can inadvertently bump into them. She would do very well with a family who is able to provide her the time, attention and exercise she needs.

Story
Hi there! My name is Cocoa and I am the sweetest pup you will ever meet. I was found as a pregnant pup and brought to a kill shelter where I had my puppies and ended up on the euthanasia list. From there, a good samaritan took me and my puppies and saved us! She asked Ruff Road Revival for help finding me a home and boy, am I so ready!! While I am on the timid side, I warm up very quickly and I looooove my people. I am a smaller dog at only 35 lbs. I have the prettiest brindle coat, but I don't shed hardly at all! I am also potty trained and crate trained, making me the perfect house guest. I love other dogs and I am great with kids, but I would prefer kids that are old enough to respect my space and not climb on me. I have not been cat tested, but with my calm, submissive demeanor, my foster mom thinks I would do great! If you want the perfect low energy, snuggly pup to call your own, apply to adopt me here: https://form.jotform.com/243205808278157
