Ernie is a sweet and handsome Catahoula mix…approximately 5 years old. He prefers a tight schedule/feeding time, with naps in his crate (door open). Ernie is fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped. He loves people, but prefers to hang out with men, and be their best buddy! Ernie is a sweet boy, and beautiful, as well! He is food motivated, so training works very well, with treats! She enjoys playtime, toys, and outdoor adventures—especially soaking up the sunshine while chasing bugs and exploring. Stella gets along well with other dogs, but her playful, energetic style makes her a great match for pups who enjoy a little rough-and-tumble fun. Shayla’s story could have gone very differently. She came to Humane Tomorrow with a group of dogs left to survive on their own in a drug-infested neighborhood in East Texas. Covered in demodectic mange and missing much of her beautiful coat, Shayla looked rough around the edges, but her sweet spirit never disappeared. With a little medicine, good food, and plenty of love, she has blossomed into the brindle princess she was always meant to be. ✨ Now this gorgeous girl is thriving. Shayla is the perfect medium size, good with other dogs, and full of personality. She does have a flair for drama...if another dog gives her even the slightest correction, she yells as though she’s starring in a canine soap opera. Five seconds later, she’s back to playing again. Shayla is smart, too. She knows how to use a dog door, loves curling up beside you in bed all night, and lives for a good game of fetch. Toss the ball once and you’ll have a devoted fan club for life. After everything she’s been through, Shayla is more than ready for a safe, happy home where she’ll never be forgotten again. She does sadly have heartworms but has started her treatment, which is paid by Humane Tomorrow’s amazing donors.

Volt is being fostered in NC. Volt has some vision. update Volt is doing well! He lives for cuddles at night before going to bed in his crate. During the day he has one speed and that is lightning fast. His favorite treat is carrots and he will do anything for them but lay down, lol. He has a pretty good recall and knows sit. He is fully potty trained and goes to the back door when he needs to go out. He plays so gently with his foster mom's mini aussies and rough and tumble with Elektra (corso) and Trigger (lab). Volt had some grand mal seizures that were caused by Simparica Trio. These lasted about 3 weeks with lingering focal seizures. He is still on keppra and he's doing great! He has not had any seizures in the last 3 months. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately

Wrangler is being fostered in PA.Wrangler has some limited vision.Wrangler here with an update on me, foster Mommy said I had to do it since they did some new tests on me. First, I am a big boy at almost 1.5 years old now! Anyway, I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBD) which they are treating with low fat food and watching my diet. Also, my B12 is low so foster Mommy gives me a shot every 3 weeks. I do great with the shot, she gives it while I am eating and I could care less cause I just want my food lolAlso, something that goes with the IBD thingy is anxiety and I try, but am scared of new things. I like to go slow meeting new ones. I can’t tell my foster Mommy why, but I’m scared of men. We are working on all this. I am great at home and I don’t do anything in the house when foster Mommy leaves because I have other doggies I am with. So as long as I am not alone, I am ok. We are trying Prozac to see if this will help relax me enough to get over my fears because I am a sweetie, really! And, I just love cuddling on the couch with foster Mommy and sleeping in bed with her. Even though I can stretch out and take up leg room at times hee heeBDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
