This precious girl is Bulma. She is listed as a mixed breed that came as a stray to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 1/9. Yes, she has been in residence at the shelter for nearly 5 months. Bulma weighs 57 pounds, is approx 6-7 years old and is spayed. She has a low-key, chill personality and is calm, gentle and well-mannered. She walks so nicely on a leash and seems a-ok with other dogs. Bulma may be house trained. She knows the sit command and will do so for treats which she takes gently. One of our volunteers has spent a lot of time with Bulma and reports that she is friendly, has a pleasant nature and enjoys loving attention. She will roll over for belly rubs. He says she loves to meet people. Because of her age and her laid-back personality, she might be a good fit for an older couple or a household that is quiet and well-ordered. Bulma resides in a wire kennel due to our overcrowded conditions. Won't you please consider adopting, rescuing or networking this wonderful girl?

I love to play with anybody who is around especially if they have toys like tennis balls! I do tend to play a bit rough at first, but once I get allll that exciting energy out I am down for some cuddles! I do well with most dog, but I can be a bit too excited for others. We quickly learned that she was a very sweet girl but being two student athletes we don’t have the time she deserves for her active lifestyle. Some of her favorite things are being outside, going on long walks, playing fetch and tug, eating snacks, riding in the car, and snuggling. She has a very playful personality and doesn’t meet a stranger. She would love to have a playmate that would tire her out, or be somewhere where she has plenty of room to run and explore!
