Story
Meet Duke, the sweet and playful dog. He is an 8 month old (as of March 2026) Mountain Cur mix, with a beautiful brindle coat and bright, curious eyes. Duke was adopted from a local shelter after being found as a stray, and he has been full of love ever since. Duke is a high energy and friendly pup who loves to run, play, and explore. He especially enjoys playing fetch and chasing toys around the yard. He is very curious and always ready for his next adventure. Duke gets along well with other dogs and enjoys having playmates to keep him busy. Duke also has a soft side and loves to cuddle up with his humans after he gets his energy out. He will happily lay next to you and soak up all the attention. An ideal home for Duke would be one with space for him to run and a family who can keep up with his playful energy. Duke is crate trained, house trained, and is working on basic commands like sit and stay. He is a smart pup who learns quickly and loves treats as rewards. He also enjoys car rides and gets excited anytime he gets to go somewhere new. This loving pup is deserving of the perfect forever home. Could it be with you? Apply to adopt Duke today! Story
Coming Soon! Trooper was found as a stray and picked up by animal control. He ended up at a high eu shelter with many wounds, unable to walk. The vet believes he was attacked by an animal. He is walking better now but still has about 4-5 weeks until repeating x-rays. Trooper is a super sweet pup and will be available for adoption once he is done with his vetting. ##2641536##

Story
Archer came to our rescue after being picked up as a stray. He doesn’t know his front ankles aren’t ‘normal’ as he gets around just fine. This condition is Angular Limb Disorder and attempting surgeries to resolve could make his situation worse. While he wouldn’t be a great running companion he still loves going for walks and short jogs. Long or strenuous walks could make him sore, so his family would want to avoid that as he would go if asked. This handsome boy is a happy, outgoing, gentle soul. He loves humans of all sizes and ages. Being with his humans and getting attention is his very favorite thing. He lives with lots of other dogs and is fine with everyone unless they are nasty to him; he won’t be bullied by anyone. He is good around the cats in his foster home who are very dog savvy. Archer has excellent house manners and is crate trained. He is engaged with his humans and treat motivated so would do well with training. He already has great recall and will sit for treats. He loves going for rides and would be a great go-everywhere dog. Archer is fully vetted – current vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
