I adopted Biscuit in August after nearly a year of looking for the perfect pup. She’s affectionate and loves to go on adventures and play. She is fully obedience trained, crate trained, and is exceptional on walks. Unfortunately, our older dog and her have developed some issues and it’s no longer a safe environment for the two of them. She can go to dog parks and meet other pups, but it would be best for her to live in a single dog home. She tends to bond with one person in particular and will stare lovingly into your eyes while wagging her tail and smiling. She does do good in a family setting, however. She absolutely loves life and would make a great addition to any active or semi-active household.

Hank is a super sweet and goofy boy. He was found as a stray in the country, just trying to survive on his own. People were very mean to him when he would come around looking for food. Because of this, he is very shy/nervous in new places and around new people, but non aggressive. Once you win him over, he will give you his entire heart. He is extremely loving and affectionate, quite the big baby. Hank is loyal, and goofy. He loves to play and loves adventure. His smile as is big as Texas and his little under bite is one of the cutest things you'll see! He would do best in a low traffic home. He has been fostered with a small (very dog experienced) child and is great, but he is a bit hyper and clumsy at times and can accidentally knock a small child down, (he's 80lbs), so he would do best with older children. He would thrive in a home with another dog to play with in a big back yard, but does require slow introductions as he is wary of new dogs at first. He is rambunctious with his dog friends and needs a friend that tolerate his ruff house play! He has been with other dogs ranging from 15-65lbs. Hank does well with non confrontational cats! Hank has a (back) foot deformity. We do not know if it was a birth defect or if something happened to him, but he only has one toe on his back foot, which contributes some to his clumsiness. He has been on glucosamine and joint supplements his entire time in rescue and it is recommended he stays on them his entire life to prevent early arthritis because of his foot. Skylar is a lovelyCatahoula Leopard Dog/Australian Cattle Dog mix born June 22, 2023. Skylar is very loving and likes to “talk”. She plays fetch and loves walks. She loves chasing a ball so much, she ignores other dogs at the dog park. She currently lives with three other dogs and three cats. She has started not getting along with one of the other dogs who is very submissive and timid which may be a factor in the behavior. Her sibling is Gia-they play well together-no behavior issues. Otherwise, Skylar is a snuggly love bug and mostly plays well with the others. She is gentle with the cats and lets them bat her around. She has not been around children, but seems curious when she sees them. She is a little suspicious of strangers, but warms up quickly. Skylar has basic behavior training, but would benefit from reinforcement training. She walks well on a leash with occasional pulling. She is very food and treat motivated.
