Story
I adopted Biscuit in August after nearly a year of looking for the perfect pup. She’s affectionate and loves to go on adventures and play. She is fully obedience trained, crate trained, and is exceptional on walks. Unfortunately, our older dog and her have developed some issues and it’s no longer a safe environment for the two of them. She can go to dog parks and meet other pups, but it would be best for her to live in a single dog home. She tends to bond with one person in particular and will stare lovingly into your eyes while wagging her tail and smiling. She does do good in a family setting, however. She absolutely loves life and would make a great addition to any active or semi-active household.

ALL PETS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE DALLAS/FT WORTH METROPLEX MEET AND GREET APPOINTMENTS SET UP WITH PRE-APPROVED APPLICATION ONLY Puppy Policies: We do not adopt puppies under 6 months of age into apartment homes or homes without a fenced yard. All children in the home must be at least 5 years of age. We appreciate your understanding of these policies. Cheyenne is one sweet girl who loves attention! Chin scratches are at the top of her “favorites” list as you can see. She arrived from the Laredo shelter where she shared a kennel with Hammy who also joined RT4P. So far we know she likes other dogs and kids! She is potty trained and has already conquered the doggie door. She does really well in her crate too … she is only 8 months old after all so we think she is doing great Like all puppies, Cheyenne needs an adopter who is willing to train and work with her to help her be the best dog she can be. If you would like to meet Cheyenne, the first step in the process is to complete an application. Please go to roadtrip4paws.com and click on the Adopt tab to find a link to our online application. Story
Our sweet 4-year-old girl (46 lbs) is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and absolutely loves people. She has lots of energy, enjoys running around the yard, and is happiest spending time with her humans. She’s crate trained, knows commands like sit, lay down, wait, and outside, and will come with all her toys and beds. She is aggressive toward other dogs and needs to be the only pet in the home. She does well on leash until she sees other dogs, so continued leash training will be important. A fenced yard and a calm, dog-free household are a must. Her experience with kids is unknown. We’re looking to rehome her due to a recent life change with a newborn, and want to make sure she finds a home where she can truly thrive. If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic companion who wants to be your one and only, she could be the perfect fit. Please message for more info.
