Nubz is a happy and sweet boy! He loves his humans and enjoys interaction and affection. He came to us as an abandoned puppy with a tail deformity and has yet to find his family.  His nub causes him no pain.  It is purely cosmetic and rather cute! Nubz is crate and potty trained, and is friendly with DOGS, CATS and CHILDREN! He is super loving and affectionate. He was previously a country dog, so city life is new to him. There's alot of things he is unfamiliar with but he's eager to explore and learn with a reassuring and patient human by his side!  Just give him a little time to adjust and feel comfortable and he will be the greatest companion you could ever ask for. Hello. My name is Colt. I am a 3-month-old Catahoula mix male who weighs around 18 Lbs. I was originally found abandoned in a storm drain off of Cornelius in Rockwall. Unfortunately, my finder was unable to keep me and decided to surrender to the shelter in hopes that I will be able to find a fur-ever home! I am a sweet boy who is at an age where I can easily learn and acclimate to any family. Since I am so young, basic training, socialization and house training are a must! That way I will grow up to be the perfect family companion. My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, 1st round of puppy boosters and 1st dewormer. If you are interested in adopting me, please complete an online adoption application on our website at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/. Since I have only had my first round of puppy vaccines, an approved online adoption is required for all meet and greets as well as for adoption. RAC staff will be in touch with approved adopters to schedule meet and greets accordingly.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. Hi! I'm Roxi! I'm an approximately 4 year old, female, Catahoula mix, who weighs around 66 Lbs. I was surrendered by my owners on 09/17/2024 because they were moving and could not take me. I am very excited to meet new people! I get a little jumpy when I'm excited but I am working on that. I love belly rubs and love a good back scratch. Tennis balls are my favorite thing...and food, food is also my favorite thing. I do best with dogs my size or bigger and do not like cats. I love kids! If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, basic boosters, and heartworm negative.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX.
