His journey began at the Mesquite Animal Shelter way back in 2017. OHAR stepped in to give him a chance, but his first foster placement wasn’t the right fit. Thankfully, an experienced foster took him in and gave him the time, structure, and love he needed to blossom into the amazing pup he truly is.He found what we hoped would be his forever home in 2020, but sadly, Skippy has found himself back with us—returned because his adopters couldn't provide the guidance he still needs. The one human who has ever made Skippy feel safe was his foster mama. She saw his heart, his potential, and never gave up on him.And we won’t either.Skippy deserves more than just another stop on his journey—he deserves his person. Someone patient, experienced, and kind. Someone who understands that trust is earned, not expected.
