Harley is in desperate need of rehoming. Her owner has lost their home and we do not have the resources to take care of her. She is 10 months old, Mountain Cur mix, 55 lbs. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. She is VERY active and VERY playful. She gets along with other dogs. She has a kennel, harness & leash. Unfortunately, she spends a great deal of time in a kennel in an un-air conditioned, unheated shed because we do not have a fenced in back yard and cannot walk her as much as she deserves.

Dear Diary, Today I have been thinking a lot about toys and treats. Well, I guess I think about both a lot because I love toys, and I love treats. My human friends keep saying that I am treat-motivated. What dog isn’t, after all? A little known secret though, did they also say that I’m super intelligent? Ha! I've also been dreaming about a home with a foster or adoptive family. I would love that. Then, I can spend time away from the shelter. I really wish to be the only dog. I also would want my crate there, as I like my crate. I was also thinking about how I would be a great roommate, and then I could have my own jar of treats. Meet Bronco! Bronco is an amazing pup, estimated to be between 1–2 years old, and he’s still very much in that playful puppy phase. Curious about everything, he loves exploring the world around him and discovering new sights, smells, and adventures. Bronco gets along wonderfully with other dogs and currently has three foster siblings he enjoys playing and lounging with throughout the day. He is also potty trained, and he is currently working on becoming fully kennel trained. This sweet boy is quite the talker—Bronco loves to express himself with silly grumbles, playful barks, and funny little sounds, especially when he’s excited or vying for attention. He has a big personality and an even bigger heart. While he can be a bit skittish at first and sometimes thinks he’s in trouble when you approach, he is quickly learning that people can be kind and gentle. Each day, he grows more confident, more trusting, and more affectionate. In the evenings, Bronco enjoys curling up on a cozy dog bed, and he’ll occasionally trot over to give you a soft “boop” as his sweet way of asking for pets.
