My neighbor died recently and her family is back east. Two of us are feeding and walking Shiloh with her family's permission. He lived with her and another dog. When the 3 were discovered during a wellness check, my neighbor and her other elderly dog were very close to death. She died that night at the hospital and animal control took the other dog, who was likely euthanized out of mercy. The house is not habitable. However, Shiloh was well fed and cared for - very fancy fresh food. He's justifiably stressed. His whole life has been upended with people coming and going to clean out the house. We can't take him into our homes b/c he isn't good with other dogs or men. But likes his crate. Will hop in a car. Will walk on leash. TIMID. Good with women, not men. This all happened in last 5 days so the situation's very new. Needs an experienced dog owner - herding mix. We'd love to find him a great home or foster with an experienced owner willing to go slow/train.

Beesly is a great dog that I’ve had for a few years. She’s well trained and well behaved. I’ve never had problems with her. Unfortunately, because I am a firefighter I often spend multiple days and nights away from my home and don’t have anybody that can take care of her, especially during these busy seasons, wildfires are making me stay at work for multiple weeks. I want to find her a great home and somebody that can take care of her and love her.

Meet Julie! This sweet girl made the long journey from Bhopal, India, arriving in the U.S. in early October to begin a new life. She was rescued from the streets of India by caring people who saw her potential & wanted to give her a chance at a better life. Now, at just 16 mos. old, she’s settling into her new surroundings and showing what a wonderful companion she can be. Julie is a little shy with new things, but she’s eager to learn & gaining confidence every day. In just two weeks, she has adjusted so well to home life. She has mastered leash walking, learned to use the dog door, and is house-trained. Julie enjoys people and other dogs, and she does wonderfully with children. Once comfortable, her playful side comes out. She would love a family who includes her in daily life and gives her time to settle in. She hasn’t been tested with cats yet, so careful introductions would be needed. Julie has seen a local veterinarian, is in excellent health. Could she be the one for you?

Maris is a big mountain dog who loves the water and outdoors. She's kinda a protective of her owner but is a sweet girl. Has some issues with other dogs and food ,needs lots of room to play. Would be a great fit for a farm or someone with a big yard to roam free. She listens well.

He’s still figuring out how to navigate the world around him, and with his enthusiasm for life comes plenty of excitement! Nakoa is working on his excitability and leash manners, so he’ll benefit from continued training, consistency, and someone willing to help him channel all that puppy energy into good habits. He’s also a total goofball with a lot to say. Nakoa is a classic talkative Husky, always ready to “discuss” his opinions with an ah-woo or two whenever the mood strikes. Between the talking, the fluff, and his playful, silly personality, he’s hard not to fall for. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, dog-friendly Husky who will keep you laughing and bring plenty of energy to your days, Nakoa might just be your guy! He’s still learning his manners, but with patience, guidance, and lots of love, he’s ready to keep growing into the best version of himself. ❤️
