Story
Remi is a lovable 2-year-old “Super Mutt” with a unique mix of Poodle, Pomeranian, and Chihuahua (confirmed by her DNA report!). She’s a small-to-medium-sized pup with a beautiful dapple coat and an irresistibly cute face.We adopted Remi from a local rescue over a year ago, hoping she would be a companion for our 3-year-old Dachshund. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, this pairing hasn’t been the right fit for her.About Remi:Best suited to a single-dog household where she can thriveInitially shy, but warms up and becomes affectionate and playfulLoves to relax and sit by your side in the eveningsCrate trained and sleeps through the nightFully potty trainedComfortable being left home aloneGenerally quiet, with occasional barking at other dogs on walksRemi would do best in a home with access to a garden and an owner who can give her the attention and calm environment she needs to feel secure and happy. She's a wonderful dog with so much love to give. She just needs the home to shine

Story
Carl is a 3 year old mutt, originally from Maui but adopted through the Oakland SPCA. He’s a real smarty pants who loves tricks and tasks. He does great with recall off leash, and walks nicely on a leash. He is very much a DOG: Barks at the mail carrier, wants to chase cats, loves a stick. He would THRIVE in a home that could take him on regular hikes. Challenges: While he loves or at least tolerates most dogs and puppies, he will act like a bully to some very young puppies. He won’t hurt them, but he will certainly scare them, so its best to keep him on leash around puppies. He needs a while to warm up to some people. For this reason, he’s not a dog that does well in loud crowded environments like a farmer’s market or beer garden. (Or at least he’d need specific training around this). The reasons I am rehoming him are mainly time and money (I’d be happy to discuss). I’ve been looking for 3 years and am dedicated to finding him the right home. Will donate to rescue org in lieu of fee.

Story
Meet Nala — a 5-year-old beagle/shepherd mix looking for her forever family. At 45 lbs, she’s the perfect mid-size companion. She’s gentle, very friendly, and unusually quiet — she rarely barks, making her a great fit for apartments, condos, or any living situation. She’s been well-loved for the past 3 years and is ready to bring that same calm, sweet energy to her next home. She’d do best with someone who can give her stability and attention as she settles in. Due to a change in living situation, I’m no longer able to keep her and want to make sure she goes somewhere she’ll be truly cared for.

Story
Bella is a true perfect little lady. She never barks unnecessarily. She is quiet, calm, very loving, likes to roll around on her back in a silly way, loves to dig in sand at the beach, loves to cuddle and likes walking on her leash. She knows basic commands: sit, wait, off, crate, treat, dinner, etc. and she is also good at recall when out on a hike and off leash. Bella is a Taiwanese Mountain Dog aka Formosan - which sounds much larger than she actually is. The Taiwanese/Formosan is the 3rd oldest dog breed in the world and it essentially boils down to being a mutt/street dog. However, they are well-known for being a very LOYAL dog, which is true for Bella. I hate to rehome Bella but I feel like she has the potential for a better, more fulfilling life with a new family or person. Our family has gone through some dramatic changes in the past 2 years and I cannot keep up with the number of animals I have to care for in the space I have. Bella is a dream and she will be missed!

Story
My husband and I adopted our puppy, Remy, from the San Francisco SPCA in late 2024. He is currently 1 yr old. His birthday is May 21, 2024 so he is almost 2yrs old!! He is super sweet, loving, energetic, and loves to play! He really needs a new home with space to run around, preferably with a backyard. He loves to go to the dog park and meet other pups. He has NEVER been aggressive. Some of his favorite human snacks are strawberries, carrots, whipped cream, mango and tuna. I’m so so sad that we have to rehome our little guy, but unfortunately we cannot keep him as we are moving. Please reach out with any questions!

Story
Bandit's owner passed away 7 months ago and Bandit is living at the residence of the man who passed-alone, outside. Friends are coming around to feed/water him. He has an excellent temperament! He is excited to see you but not yappy/jumpy, fun to play with, not super high energy, chill in general, sad but just stands there when you leave him, loving and will lean into you or jump up in your lap and lay down. This love bug desperately needs a home and would make an excellent, low maintenance companion. Bandit is 8 yrs/LOVES his toys/balls, any food, car rides, cuddling and sleeping w/his person/Has lived mostly outside in yard/garage in Daly City and outside at a vineyard/Used to couch cuddle for hours or sleep with his owner/Lived with a cat/Mildly reactive to the one dog we introduced him to (probably ok with other dogs with proper intro)/Not a barker/chewer/digger/etc./seems potty trained with a dog door/must be neutered (current owner says he will pay).
