Story
Meet Waffles! 🐾Waffles is a loving, energetic 4-year-old rescue from originally from Texas (adopted in 2021 in CT) looking for her forever home. She loves to play, cuddle, and be close to her people. She is crate trained (crate included), knows several commands, and responds well to a beep collar on walks.Waffles would do best as the only pet in the home. While she has lived with another dog, they have occasionally had conflicts over food and toys. She has done well with older children (10+), but has not been around younger children. This is a heartbreaking decision, but due to an upcoming move, I can no longer keep her. She is a wonderful companion and will bring so much love to the right family.Adoption fee will go toward her final veterinary visit before adoption. ❤️

Story
My daughter has moved to Arizona and couldn't take the dog. I am elderly and partially disabled and have 2 other older/elderly dogs. The dog is 7 months old and has more energy than I am able to handle. I am hoping to find a new place for him. Thank you for your time and help.

Story
We had gotten Layla as a puppy. She is 3 years old. She loves to snuggle, she’s very calm and very much a couch potato until she is outside! She’s a fast learner. She’s always been able to go out in our fenced in yard. She has always been nervous walking down busy roads! She is good with larger dogs - just not while she eats! No small She likes her privacy. She’s good with my two cats and one is a wild kitten! She is good with older kids/teenagers but she is nervous with younger children as they’re unpredictable. She would do SO well as an only dog as she loves her attention and I just cannot provide all the attention she needs with my little one and now 3 of my step children in the house. We had rehomed her to a really lovely home but they are moving out of state and could not take her with them. I don’t want her going to a shelter so we took her back in for the time being. Layla is such a smart, loyal girl. I would really love to see her go to a home who would make her their world!

Story
Callie is a 3.5 year old spayed female, pitbull mix. Very energetic and affectionate. We have had her since she was a few months old and are heartbroken to have to rehome her. Sadly, she has bitten guests at our home twice and has bitten our other dog several times. Usually this behavior occurs when she is excited/over-stimulated. She loves her humans and prefers to be around us as much as possible, definitely gets anxious when we leave the house. We crate her when we leave the house to curb anxious chewing. Callie loves cuddling, playing outside, and food. She has lots of energy and love to give, but requires some patience and attention. We feel Callie would best succeed in a home without other pets or young children, but with humans able to give her ample time & attention

Story
Left on a road at what the pound thinks is 18 years of age. And he will now be loved and warm and cared for until the day he dies. Oreo is blind, housetrained and a very sweet elder gent! He barks to let you know what he wants, to go outside or is hungry but is independent and loving. Blindness has never kept him down.
