Story
Cookie is a moderately trained dog, she is very eager to please and highly motivated by treats. With a serious owner she has the potential to be a well trained dog. Currently she responds very well to the following commands: Sit, Leave it, Go to bed (crate), Paws on the floor, You may eat, & Do your business (potty).She is still learning consistency with the commands: Stay & Go to place (play corner).She plays very well with other dogs at the dog park. I do not know if she can get along with a cat. We have one but it’s the cat that’s mean to her. We are rehoming her for several reasons. We can’t give her as much free roam time as we hoped when we brought her home, the neighbors are disgruntled my kid isn’t picking up her poop, and we are looking to list our home for sale. It will be difficult to show the house with a dog barking in the cage.

Meet Meadow!! This sweet angel is a snuggle bug and will take all the cuddles you want to give her. She is affectionate and loving and would like nothing better than to make your lap her home. Meadow has been neutered or spayed, given age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, is heartworm negative, and on prevention. If this sounds like the pup for you, please complete an application at https://www.saveastray.org/forms/form?formid=3635 Once the application is approved, a FaceTime will be set up for a virtual meet and greet. Since we are located in Mobile, AL, this will give you the opportunity to see the pet interact with other dogs, people, and see a bit of their personality. Transports leave every week alternating between the NE and the Great Lakes. We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport. Story
Dexter is a lab/mix we adopted about 4 years ago. He is house trained and does ok on a leash. He does well with other dogs and plays with our second all the time.He love to cuddle on the couch and is not very high maintenance. We are moving to a new state where we are having a hard time finding a place that will accept dogs. We are hoping to find a place He is comfortable and gets lots of snuggles. He puts up with our 2 year old toddler. Just get over excited when car passes or someone knocks on the door.

Story
George is a little over four years old, fixed, and up to date on all his shots. We adopted him from the Walden Humane Society, and he has been a loving, happy, and loyal companion ever since. He is one of the friendliest dogs you will ever meet, great with people, and always full of positive energy. George enjoys being outside, going for walks, and spending time with his people. He truly deserves a home where he can get plenty of attention and stay active. This is a very difficult decision for us. We are relocating; I am starting a PhD program; my wife is teaching; and we recently welcomed a new baby. With everything going on, we can no longer give George the time he needs and deserves. We love him very much and want to find him a home where he will continue to be happy, cared for, and loved.
