Story
We found Jasper in an alley when he was about 12 weeks old. He's estimated around 1 now. He is a very high energy dog. He likes to go for runs with me. Loves his toys and is very affectionate. He does well with my teenage kids but probably wouldn't do well with small kids. He does well with my cats and the two small dogs we have, but I can't speak to other dogs as he avoids animals he doesn't know when out for a walk. Nail trims are better done by the vet. He does very well for bath time. I'm re-homing him due to his energy needs. We keep him very active, but he needs more. He doesn't do well off leash, and will steal food from the stove while it's cooking, so he will take a patient trainer. If he isn't adopted soon, I will have to surrender him. I'm not asking for a fee, but would like to have conversations with anyone interested in taking him home. This wasn't an easy decision, but I know we're not the right family for him.

Story
Nyla is a such a cuddly and goofy dogs. She loves stomach rubs and she leaps at the opportunity for a fun walk. Aside from walks and playing with balls, another one of her favorite things to do is eat.She is house broken and knows some commands like sit, down, paw, wait, and walk. She does well with children and adults!Nyla has had issues with other dogs, and it's best if she does not go to dog parks. It's best Nyla is the only dog/pet in the home to avoid aggression. If you love beautiful, large, and playful dogs, and can afford Nyla a home without any other pets, she will be the perfect fit!She will be kept with her current family until adopted. Story
Nova is Husky/Terrier Mix. I met Nova when she was 5months old back August 2018 as last runt puppy dog. She is 8 years old and her birthday is 3/24. Nova is shy around other dogs and people at the dog park. Nova loved walk but she does pull leash when she sees other dogs. Nova know sits, down, turn, and paws. Crate trained on command to go into the crate. Eats 1 cup of kibbles twice a day. Recently, there was an incident where when I looked away for a second, my 1 year old daughter ran up to Nova and hugged her very tight and Nova bit my daughter as a defensive bite. Bite was minor but I realized that I won’t be able to prevent this from happening again. Therefore, Nova is not suitable for home with children and toddlers. This is incredibly hard decision for me since she was my sweet and loyal companion for 8 years before I met my wife and now my daughter. I know Nova has so much love to give still and she deserves a home where she can continue to thrive. Thank you, Jay

Story
Luna was adopted during COVID back in June of 2020 from a shelter in Maryland. She just had puppies when we adopted her and believe she was originally a stray. She is around 7 years old. She is a very shy girl when you first meet her. Once she warms up to you, she will be your best friend. The best way to win her over are butt scratches and treats. She is a very smart girl and knows a variety of tricks (sit, stay, down, spin, rollover, paw, etc…). She absolutely loves walks and cuddling on the couch. She is always ready to go on an adventure and to spend time with her pet parents.Luna would do best with somebody who lives alone or a couple. We wouldn’t recommend she be in a home with young children or other pets. She enjoys her alone time and doesn’t love new people getting in her face. We wish we could keep her, but we just had a daughter and don’t believe Luna would do well with a small child constantly bothering her. We want to find somebody who will give her the love she deserves.

Story
Hazelnut was found on the side of the road. She is a very sweet and loving girl. All she wants is love and attention... and for someone to play with her. We would love to keep her, but sadly we have 9 pets already. I have had her first set ot puppy shots done and she is due for the second round and rabies on May 5th. I would be more than happy and willing to cover the cost of the 2nd set of vaccines.

Story
Sage is your average basic dog .She's not the reason we need to rehome her,, it's my bad back and my husband's failing heart disease that is. My husband is getting worse so we don't have much time to spend with a typical 1 yr old dog.She adores car rides, loves walking on leash, knows all basic commands and loves to run and play. She needs a fenced yard and hopefully a playmate but not a must. Exercise for sure which she isn't getting as much as before with my husband's heart condition. Not Sage's fault we humans now have medical issues. Please help and give her a new home. I do not want to take her back to the shelter but so much time is spent in the hospital and Drs we have to find a new home this developing and mentally growing dog. Please spare her from going to the shelter.
