Story
Update: I found this dog's owners, but they're wanting to rehome her, along with her three puppies. The owners have a surrender appointment at Indy Animal Care Services on May 25th, 2026. I am helping them get the word out to find them a foster or adopter before then. I haven't met the pups, but the mom, Antonela, is extremely sweet. They are wanting to rehome her because she keeps escaping the yard, but she is also underweight and unspayed, so after a spay and proper diet I believe the escape attempts will cease. I am willing to pay for her spay if that is deterring a possible adopter. Antonela would do best in a home without younger children. She's good with other dogs, unknown with cats. Would most likely do best with a family with a large yard, farm, or someone who can take her for multiple walks a day. Please reach out and I will put you in contact with the owners.

Story
Violet is a high energy dog who loves to play and is smart and mischievous. We are sad to let her go, but unfortunately she is a Houdini and escapes by digging under our fenced yard regularly. Every hole we cover and block off just leads to her to find another way to escape. We live in a very populated neighborhood, and while she’s not aggressive, she runs up to people and dogs, barking and scaring them. She doesn’t run far, but our neighbors have had enough. She has boundless energy and would be great with an experienced adopter with room for her to roam. She may be great with agility training or a farm dog with a task. Very smart, but uses her smarts for causing trouble. Good with dogs and kids but plays rough and constant with dogs, which can annoy dogs (probably do best with an alpha). Crate trained and can’t be left alone out of crate in the house as she’ll get into things. Also takes medication for severe car sickness. Just want a good home for her.

Story
Oakley is a high energy brindle dog under a year old that loves to play. We got her at the humane society. She's loyal, incredibly clever, very strong for a dog her size (50-60lb) and loves warmer weather outside. She's potty trained, does well in a vehicle and is crated when we're not home. She's been in a home with two other dogs, and she's passionately curious and playful with them. Our smaller hypoallergenic dogs can get pushed around while trying to play, which is why I listed unknown with other dogs. That said, she's not mean to them. She often tries to initiate tug of war with toys with one of our dogs. We also have two small kids (8 and 10). She loves them and they love her. She is powerful though, and can pull them on walks. She does jump when kids come home, which we believe is triggered by one of our smaller breed dogs and we've had progress on training. My partner has allergies, which is the major reason we're looking to re-home her, as tough as that is.

Story
Marshal is a little over 2 years old and was adopted from the shelter as a puppy. He's really sweet, playful boy that is full of energy and LOVES to play.We are putting him up for adoption because we have found that we do not have the time to properly care for him how he deserves. He also has an issue with submissive urination, so someone with a lot of patience would be ideal. He is great with cats and other dogs and will be a good addition to an Active, loving family preferably with a yard so he can run.

Story
Clyde is a pit mix, maybe a bit staffy, jack russell, even beagle. He is 1 year old as of the end of April 2026. Clyde is a sweetheart, very energetic when its time to play, he is an athlete, but loves to lick and cuddle when its later in the evening. Very treat motivated. Very good at handling his business when you take him outside, rarely any accidents inside the house anymore. Has been through puppy training and knows simple commands when given treats as motivation. Looking for a home with multiple people to be able to give more love, and possibly kids that can help entertain and keep him busy. Fenced in yard would be ideal. Bonnie and Clyde were siblings, but Bonnie found a new home! I have had them since August 2025, they are absolutely great dogs! Not aggressive at all, and not shy either, very personable and friendly!

Story
This is Stella, she is a good dog but needs a lot of work and with me having two young kids, one in and out of the hospital it is just to hard to keep her and properly train. She needs a home with older kids or no kids at all because she is just too hyper and energetic around people. She is 2 years old and loves attention. Is not spayed yet.
