Story
Meet 5 year old Bingo! He was adopted from the Humane Society as a puppy in March of 2021. He's a medium sized 55 lb long n' low cattle dog/corgi/ (etc etc) mix, he's housebroken and very smart. He's a quick learner, and a real sweetie. He's a mix of breeds, and definitely has got the typical Cattle dog mindset, he likes to herd and is NOT GOOD WITH CHILDREN. He's strong-willed and needs an Alpha owner/s to keep him in line. That being said, he's also a very sweet, affectionate boy! He loves to snuggle and play with toys and his family. Currently lives with cats, which he tolerates. He's never lived with other dogs. He'd do well with a childless couple or single person. He loves to run and fetch, he's very good on leash for walks, but the rest of the time is a total couch potato. He's very protective of his people and is an excellent guard dog. He LOVES the snow, summer not so much. We love him very much, but can't afford to keep him.

Esther is lovely companion for a human but she has developed aggression toward our other dog after years of cohabitation with other dogs. She's sweet, gentle, loves to snuggle but is not a Velcro dog.

Story
Kasper is a very sweet and loving boy! He loves adventures, being outside, and cuddles :) He is kennel-trained, house-trained, and follows commands like sit and shake. He currently resides with another dog (Black Lab) and one cat. He does great with both of them! In addition to this, Kasper is great with kids, as we have 3 children under the age of 11. This decision to find Kasper a new home is solely based on the fact that we are not in a place to give him all the extra attention a dog his age deserves. Between a busy internship, a normal job for my husband, and 3 kids with heavy schedules, it is just not fair to him. Our black lab is older and very lazy! Although it breaks our hearts to see him possibly find a new home, we know that ultimately it would be what is best for him. He is due for some shots this year, and is not yet fixed. I would like to be flexible on a rehoming fee for him, so that it can be discussed. My main concern is him going to a loving home where he can thrive.

Story
Everyone, please meet Addy Susan a 3+ year old rescue mix. Multiple moves, and an increasingly unpredictable job/schedule for myself and partner, have paid their toll on our sweet girl, and as a result, her confidence being home alone has regressed. Based on the work I’ve done with Addy, and what recent trainers have said, she just needs more consistency, a more predictable schedule structure and it’d help to have another (small to medium sized) dog to help lead the way. Addy is super smart, incredible around kids / babies, is food motivated, does well keeping herself busy with chew toys and loves playing with dogs her size or smaller. She is gentle with all living things and almost never barks. She’s most content being curled up on the couch with her people or lying in the grass outside. She sleeps in her crate happily each night (but would also love to snuggle with you). The ideal situation for Addy would be a home with a family, another pup, people around for more consistency.

Story
Whiskey was found by a delivery driver making rounds. She was the only puppy in a box and found behind a bar, hence the name we gave her. We took her in temporarily to find her a home in September. Shortly after one of our dogs passed from cancer so we thought we should keep her. She is a sweet dog, and gets along well with our other 3 dogs both large and small as well as our cat. The only problem is we don’t have time to put in the work that she needs. She is smart and will be a great dog but our family schedule is not fair to her. Her only issue is food aggression when she gets her bowl. I’ve been working with her and it seems better but it is something to be cautious about. We don’t have small kids but this could be an issue. She does chew on things as any puppy would.
