Story
Juneau was found by a friend as a stray puppy in MI during a snowstorm, hence his name. He’s been through puppy classes and is potty & crate trained. He’s around 10 months old, loving & playful. He needs more attention than I can give and a calmer, more predictable home life! He loves tricks & listens to direction. He also loves water & swims like a seal. We’re at the park regularly, where he ignores all people & dogs but is obsessed with squirrels. He shows interest in our cat, but she doesn’t like him, so Juneau gives her space. He gets overstimulated by too much chaos and excitement. But on days where it’s chill, he is too! This post comes with mixed emotions, but I hope to find him a more ideal home, where he will be happy! He is the cutest thing ever & very special!

Story
Hello. My name is Max. I just turned 2 years old. My mom adopted me from Huron Valley Humane Society. I was very shy and scared. When I got home, it took 3 days before I would leave my room. I need a new home that will love, play and snuggle with me. Unfortunatelymy mom lost her job and our home. I am playful, cute and adorable with my pouty bottom (underbite) lip and nub tail. I love playing with my sister as she chases me outside and love playing tug of war. I loved sitting on our chase and looking out the window. I can be somewhat reactive (got it from my sister). I bark at strange people and dogs that walk past our house. Walks are okay but sometimes a challenge when other dogs are barking at me. My sister is the only dog I have been around. I have not been to the vet this year but was seen last year. No health issues.

Story
Tucker is a sweet pup. Was adopted as my daughters emotional support animal. Unfortunately, because of financial hardship, we were not able to erect a fence as soon as initially hoped, and he continues to get into the neighbors yard. They have now threatened to call the cops and have us fined if it happens again. We are hoping that out daughters broken heart is not in vain, and he can go to a sweet little girl whose family has a fenced in yard.

Story
I received Juno from the Erie County Humane Society 2 years ago and they guessed her to be 2 years old then. I just moved in July and things have not gone the way we planned. She has been the best dog for me and this is absolutely breaking my heart to give her up. She's spunky, energetic, protective, knows basic commands, food-motivated, and trainable. She picks up on emotions. Great cuddler! She will walk YOU! 😁 Unsure around some men. Not sure what sets her off (hats, facial hair, their vocal tone?) She's been fine around my teenage grandkids, but she does jump on people, so I wouldn't recommend small children. Has a high prey drive. Do NOT recommended homes with small animals. She loves baby carrots, sliced bananas, and the occasional French fry. She can also hear a bag of cheese opening 3 rooms away. She will come with all of her toys that I can find. I want her to have a loving home that has the space for her to move about freely & safely. Time is of the essence.

Story
Fannie Lou Hamer is a 6yo leap year dog, born February 29, 2020. 14lbs. She is very very VERY energetic and loves to play. She LOVES other dogs, children, and men. Her favorite things to do are play dates, cuddles, car rides, walks, and runs. She also answers to the nicknames “puppy” and “snickerdoodle”. Her favorite snack in the entire world is popcorn. She is spayed and chipped. I am rehoming her due to me becoming ill and disabled. I can not care for her in the way she deserves. But for that, I would keep her forever. I would prefer she go to a home with a large fenced in yard and children and/or other dogs. She has a big personality and is smarter than the average dog (others have said it often).Unfortunately, due to my illness I have not yet had her vaccinated this year as she usually goes in April and I was hospitalized and had emergency lung surgery during her appointment time and have not been well enough to reschedule it yet. I am looking to remain in her life if possible.
