Story
Fang is a very playful and affectionate young female dog. Not sure what happened or why but her and my other dog stopped getting along. They can't be together . Fang is house broken and would do very well in a single pet home where there isn't any competion for food or attention with another dog. We do have cats in the house that Fang has only been playful with. Fang is about a year old , still in her puppy stage but moving into adolescent. Maybe this is the reason for the changed behavior. She deserves a good home , I hope she finds you!!

Story
Sadie is approx. 7 years old and an unknown mix breed. She is definitely a German Sheppard mix and regular weight is around 40lbs. She has gained some weight due to lack of activity since our other dog passed about a year ago. Sadie is a good companion dog, she will stay by your side at all times. She is trained to sit, stay, wait, and will high-five. Loves to run and play fetch and also enjoys laying around and snuggling on the couch with you. She has had very little interaction with little or young kids so I can't advise on how she is with them. She does not like loud, sudden noises, this includes thunder and fireworks. The ideal home for her would be one where she can be with you and tag along for adventures. I would not recommend young children as she has not been around them in the past.

Meet Hanzo! He is a 9-month-old sweetheart with a big personality. Full of energy and curiosity, he is looking for an adventurous family. Hanzo loves to be outdoors especially when there’s swimming, car rides, dog friends or free running involved. When outside, Hanzo excels at recalling; however, his affinity for chasing bunnies and squirrels often overrides his listening skills, but with his easily trainable personality and positive reinforcement, he can learn more obedience. Hanzo is becoming a pro at commands like “sit”, “down”, “look at me” (eye contact command), and “wait”-->”ok”. He is working on a few house manners like not jumping, not stealing shoes, and not mouthing. Aside from his playfulness, Hanzo creates strong bonds with his owners making him an extremely loyal dog who is a great, cuddly companion. If you are looking for a dog to steal your heart away, Hanzo is the perfect option. His endless zoomies, sleeping quirks and playfulness will sweep you off your feet.

Story
Murphy is a 3.5 year-old male (Beagle/Aus Shepherd mix,45-50lbs). He had his shots and has been neutered. He was originally adopted from Michigan Humane in 2021 (chipped). Was found as a stray in Detroit Palmer Park, apparently the original owner did want him anymore. The couple that found him could not keep him, so he was adopted by my family in April 2024. He was found to be heart worm positive and has gone through treatments in May and June. He is now in the 120-day waiting period before retesting. We had every intention of keeping him, but after treatment he became bigger, stronger and a lot to manage. We have two other dogs that he does not get along with well. Positives: He is very smart, trainable, lovable and active. Negatives: He is sometimes spooked by loud noises such as landscape equipment, vacuum cleaners etc., which may result in anxiety. He would be good for an adult home (older children OK) with no other pets and can provide training/exercise. Also loves belly rubs.

I rescued an emaciated dog that I didn’t know what pregnant until I had her for three weeks. I decided to keep mom and re-home her puppies. Shera is unfortunately one of the last puppies from the litter. She’s an active pit boxer mix. Shera is crate trained, love able and kid friendly . She does good with other male dogs. I’m desperately looking for a home. O don’t want to put her in a shelter. Ill even be willing to help with shots if I should be contacted before her appointment.
