Story
She’s a great girl!! She’s about 3 years old. She is still very much puppy and too hyper for a house with a toddler. Unfortunately we don’t have the time to devote to training. She is great with our other dog and loves all dogs, always wants to make new friends. She is good with our female cat but not the male cat. She will lick your face off. She doesn’t know she isn’t a lap dog! She wouldn’t intentionally hurt anyone, she just gets very excited and has zero slow when she goes after something she wants. For that reason not good with infants and toddlers. She knows sit, sometimes stay, lay. She goes in the car wonderfully. Not great on a leash, she wants to explore everything. She has a few extra pounds because she has the man of the house trained for her snacks and she thinks she is the toddlers personal vacuum cleaner. Please give her a good home. This isn’t easy but we love her enough to not have her in another room all the time.

Story
I rescued Sammy from the Humane Society 2.5 years ago (his name is technically Samwise, but I call him Sammy). He will turn 3 on July 7th. He is sweet, loving, energetic, very smart and great with kids. Unfortunately I'm going to be moving in with my girlfriend who is very allergic to him -- he is short haired and she reacts really strongly to him. He loves walks and playing outside, loves playing with and chewing on toys, and loves to snuggle. Sammy is gentle with young kids and loves to fetch. He could use a great, loving home!I'll also happily pass along a bunch of food, a couple of crates, a couple of leashes, some flea / tick medicine, bowls and treats for Sammy.

Meet Meadow!! This sweet angel is a snuggle bug and will take all the cuddles you want to give her. She is affectionate and loving and would like nothing better than to make your lap her home. Meadow has been neutered or spayed, given age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, is heartworm negative, and on prevention. If this sounds like the pup for you, please complete an application at https://www.saveastray.org/forms/form?formid=3635 Once the application is approved, a FaceTime will be set up for a virtual meet and greet. Since we are located in Mobile, AL, this will give you the opportunity to see the pet interact with other dogs, people, and see a bit of their personality. Transports leave every week alternating between the NE and the Great Lakes. We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport. Leo is a cuddle bug who only wants to be by your side. Loves everyone and all cats and dogs! Leo has low energy overall (couch potato) but has high level zoomies when he gets wound up! He loves being pet and told he is a good boy. He is timid though at times, and gets scared when new cars are at the driveway. Leo enjoys naps, his meals (twice a day) and spending time with his family. Leo would thrive with someone or a family that can have him be with them when they're home. He is used to being in a crate while people are away at work or school. Thrives with older kids and best in a home with a yard. Leo is house-trained and knows 'crate', 'stay', and 'paw.' He has separation anxiety and is afraid of the street. If it's a dirt road or path, he is fine! Leo is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, is microchipped. He currently eats Kirkland brand pet food.

Say hello to Bella. We adopted this sweet girl in September. She is house trained and needs someone to continue working on her other training needs. She is very cuddly and playful. Unfortunately, she does not get along with our other dog and needs a home where she is the only animal. We will include her crate and toys. We can meet with you so you can see if this ball of love will fit into your home. Right now she can be overly enthusiastic so I’m not sure how she is with small children. She is also very food driven. Bella is 50 pounds and medium sized. She’s very strong and will need training and patience. If you think you can open your home to this sweet girl, let’s meet and see if she is right for you. Again, I highly recommend she be your only animal. Willing to waive the adoption fee for the right applicant. Thanks.
