Story
I am looking for a perfect fit for my sweet boy; His name is Atlas he is a “Shepherd Mix” estimated between 1-3 years old based off of what the KC Pet Project told us. He would do best in a home as a single dog (not sure how he would do with another dog as I don’t have one) with parents who either have a backyard or multiple long walks a day. We originally adopted him looking to be his forever home however my resident cat does not get along with him and it’s not fair to either of them to keep him in a kennel or have to put my cat up to have him out. He is a bundle of energy and the sweetest pup ever. He loves belly rubs and cuddles and loves to run around the house. He deserves so much better, he deserves the world. He loves car rides especially if it ends with him in a pup cup, going to a park, or seeing people. Since getting him we’ve taught him most basic commands like Sit, Lay Down, Stay, Speak, Shake, Around. He is so smart and very food motivated and a very quick learner.

Story
This is Koa. She’s 7 years old (DOB 1/28/19). We adopted her when she was a puppy and has been with us her whole life. She is a herding dog and tends to nip but has never truly bitten anyone or broken skin. However, we have a 3 year old in the house and are worried for our daughter’s safety. Koa really should not be trusted around kids but has been fine around other dogs and cats. She really is the sweetest dog though just has a bit of anxiety and is very protective. There is a picture of the DNA test we did when we got her. She is spayed and microchipped. House trained, knows commands, and has an awesome recall. She is up to date on her rabies vaccine. We think she would do best on a farm or at least somewhere with land. We are planning on keeping her until we can find the right home. If you’re interested please reach out and we can set up a meeting!

Story
We got Joey from Wayside Waifs over a year ago. He is 17 months old. He is very active, but gets hot easily. He growls when he plays and that has been scary for our kiddos. He can be very sweet and would be a great pet for a calm 2 person family without kids and with another dog. He does get bored easily, but he is not a chewer. He LOVES to fetch!!! It really kills me to rehome him, but my kiddos are scared of him and he needs a better home with someone where he is loved more than we can give him right now.

Story
My friend found this dog as a puppy dumped in front of their property in the middle of the country and was unable to keep him. We have kept him and tried to make him apart of our family for the past year, and unfortunately our family is not a great fit for him. Radar would benefit from a spacious yard, plenty of time for play and a home without toddlers. Radar does really well with older children though. I would love to see him go to a good home where he can use all of the energy he has.
