Story
Chesney is as sweet as can be. She can be very independent but then wanna curl up next to you and paw at you for attention. She will be 2 the end of August. She loves to play ball and with toys. She’ll flop herself on the ground and loves tummy scratches. She loves to look out the windows and would love good access to a backyard. if she can watch the world all day she is asleep on the couch by 7:00.She is about 50lbs. She is a tall skinny little girl. She needs someone that will keep her active and play with her daily. We are happy to do a trial run for an extended period of time to make sure she you both are the right fit for each other. She has a fur brother and fur sister now and will unfortunately go on the attack against her sister so has to be no other animals in the house. She is kennel trained and will sleep in her kennel at night but would prefer your bed. We would recommend kids older than 10. She love walks but is reactive on the leash when she sees squirrels and dogs.

Story
This is Link, our almost 1-year-old (born 4/23/25) pup who is full of energy!💙His mom was a German Shepherd/Husky mix,& his dad..well, let’s just say he made a surprise appearance 😜 We were told he may have been a hound or hunting dog mix, but we think there could be some Lab in there too! About Link: *VERY energetic—he needs an active home or space to run (land would be ideal!!!) *Housebroken & crate trained (he will come w/kennel ) *LOVES playing fetch 🎾 *Good with kids, but he does jump when excited so sometimes that can overwhelm the kids. *Not aggressive at all—total big baby 🐶 *Hasn’t really been around other dogs (other then the next door neighbor dogs through the fence-he will bark or ignore them but has never gotten aggressive) *Has been around cats some—barks at them, but if they come closer he runs away 😂 Link needs more time, attention, and activity than we can currently give him. We want him to have the best life possible even if that means finding him a new home.

Story
Manny is roughly 2 years old. He came from a shelter so we don't know much. By his behavior I don't think he was inside a house much. He is crate trained and housebroken. Manny will come and get you when he needs to go out. He loves cuddles and snuggles. Manny has somehow gotten the impression that he is a lap dog and will lay across your lap on the sofa to get loves. He likes walks and does pretty good on leash. Manny doesn't lunge or pull after the first couple of walks. The problem is we can't keep him in the yard and when he gets out he won't recall and come to you. We have to wait for him to get tired and come home on his own. Because he will be a flight risk we recommend leash walks only for the first month or so to get him used to his new home.

Story
My name is Kiara and I am a very sweet girl. I’m almost 3 and I can do the basic commands. I’m potty trained and crate trained. I weigh 85 lbs. and I love people! I’m looking for a new home because when my family adopted me, both parents were working from home four days a week. Now they’re both back in the office more, so I’m alone all day. I love to go on long walks and play with my toys. I’m up-to-date on all my shots and vet visits. I spent some time in the pound, so I take trazodone for anxiety. I think I could get it off it if I find the right home. Please reach out if you’d like to meet Kiara. We’re asking $100. This includes her dog beds, crate, and toys.

Story
Smudge was adopted from the KC Pet Project late January. I was informed upon adoption that he has reactivity issues with other dogs. Unfortunately he is a bit more than I can handle, as he also has moments of overexcitement where he will jump and nip at me and my partner. He also is a bit picky about his space and will growl if we move in his vicinity when he's laying down. He barks very loud on car rides. I've put him through some reactivity classes and he's responded well to training and is somewhat good at walking outside if we keep a certain distance from triggers. He's working on quite a few tricks. He's very food motivated and is gentle when taking treats. When he's invited for a cuddle he is a very loving dog. He doesn't complain about getting his nails clipped. He has good traits and I don't think he's a bad dog at all, just came from a rough background, but he definitely needs someone experienced in a household without kids or pets.
