Story
Cooper is 4 years old. He is very energetic and loves to play. He must be homed with an active family or at least a family with a large fenced in area he can run around and play ball. He loves playing with other dogs. The reason why I said no to good with kids is that he just gets overly excited and jumps and can be too rough for small children. We have two children under two and have to keep them separated. Cooper does not live the same life he did before we had kids and it makes my heart hurt. This decision has not come easy and we will have to find the right fit for him.

Story
Nine years ago, we brought home two of the fastest dogs in Greenville. They were inseparable—best friends who kept each other company through every busy season of life. They chased balls, tore down trails, and always curled up side by side at the end of the day.Since her sister passed away a little over a year ago, she has remained the same loyal, loving companion we've always known. However, with the constant pace of life with three kids, we’ve realized we can’t give her the dedicated time and attention she truly deserves. In good conscience, we know we can’t keep her, as she needs a home where she can have someone to cuddle and play with throughout the day. We want her to have a life that is as full as her heart.

Story
I went to the shelter in December looking for a small dog. I left with Mercy. She broke my heart with her sweet little face and loving personality. She is a Velcro dog that just wants to love and be loved. She is truly so precious, and it took me a long time to come to the decision to re-home. But it's what's best for her and for me. She is jealous of my ten year old hound, and my 5 year old son. She gets between me and them and it concerns me. She is also very exuberant when wanting to play, and neither of them want to play with her like that She is simply too high need in terms of affection and attention. I am a single mother with a son and an elderly dog. She deserves a home where she is the star, she deserves to be showered with love and affection. She deserves to sleep on her person and be at their side constantly My heart breaks for this dog. She was a stray, taken in at in December, she's likely had a hard life. But she is joy incarnate

Story
Alice (Alie) is a two year old, sweet, playful girl. She is very active, loves to play, loves toys and learning tricks. She need lots of exercise, so a home with a safe place to run and be outside is ideal. We need to rehome because the busy schedule and new confined space is not allowing her the exercise and attention she needs. It is causing her a lot of stress and anxiety. She is a loving girl who would bright up any home that can provide her needs. She looks to be a husky, and/or Australian shepherd mix. She’s great tempered, no aggression.

Story
Lucky has been in our family for a decade! He loves to run and play fetch, he knows sit, speak, lay down, and spin. He loves to be right at your hip and interested in whatever you are doing. He was a rescue, and in turn has some anxiety around crowds and fireworks. I do not recommend him to be around other dogs or children because he is bossy towards them, he has never bitten anyone but will snip and bark at dogs that are too close. He warmed up to our other dog acorn but it was due to acorn being submissive. He loves being petted on and once settled loves laying by camp fires or lounging with his owner. We have loved him and hate to have to leave him as we have twin babies and moving to a much smaller home.
