Story
Meet Sandy! She is super super, sweet, LOVES other dogs, is crate trained housebroken, good with cats, walks well on a leash and rides well in the car. She is learning some basic commands and is very, very treat motivated! Sandy is very timid when meeting new people and will need someone who understands and is willing to give her the time and patience that she needs to warm up and feel comfortable. Another dog in the home helps her, especially if they like to play! Sandy would love a fenced yard where she can play and do zoomies. She was pretty shut down when she first came into the foster’s home, but has blossomed as she’s become more and more comfortable and secure. She is very sensitive and loud noises can startle her but overtime that has been improving to where she feels more secure in the foster’s home. She is very sweet and loving and such a good girl. She deserves a family to call her own. Sandy is 2.5 years old and the perfect size at 35 pounds - we have no idea her breed other than super mutt (which are the best) - another confident dog in the home is a must as this helps Sandy blossom even more - she is up to date on vaccines, spayed, dewormed, has had a full bloodwork panel done, 4DX Heartworm negative, current on prevention (heartworm and flea/tick), microchipped and ready to find a new last name The first step in our adoption process is filling out our adoption application that can be found on our website www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org - Once the application is reviewed and vet references are done - we will be in touch - we do require a home visit as well. All of our dogs are in private foster homes throughout Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina - we do not have a facility Sandy's adoption fee is $250.00 If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out

Goose is a goofy loving boy. He loves fetch and car rides and exploring outside. He is very protective over his family and truly a big sweetheart. He loves to cuddle and play and is very smart. He needs someone who can give him training, consistency, and love. He’s only 2 but has been passed around from foster to foster so he really just needs a forever home.

Story
Freyja is one of the two best friends I've ever had. Her older brother Loki was re-homed this month, and it has shattered us. We are having to leave the country soon, and fewar what the trip and tiny living space would do to her. She is the most loving pup I've ever seen, and quiet. She was raised by our cat who passed a few years ago. I'm a disabled veteran, and she has helped and helped me in so many ways. Knowing she is with a kind person would mean so very much.

Story
I got Rich from a neighbor who was unable to properly care for him. Rich has spent most of his life chained up outside. Despite this, he is the sweetest, most resilient dog. I would love to keep him, but I already have 3 dogs of my own. Rich is very kind, not a single ounce of reactivity or aggression. He is so happy to have his basic needs met that he is very eager to please, yet he is not needy. Rich is about 70 lbs. He is a big boy and very strong so I walk him with a prong collar so he can self-regulate, otherwise he could drag me down the street (and I am not a little woman!). Rich needs someone that can communicate with him calmly. Rich was neutered this week (4/22/25) and has been recovering in my garage and has been a wonderful houseguest. He knows how to use a doggy door, but I don't know how housetrained he is. From being in my garage, he knows to hold it for outside. Medical is up to date, and he has a kennel, toys, collars and food bowls for his new home.

Story
Cody Breed: Pit mixes, we do not know who the dad is. We assume Shepherd. Gender: Cody is male Age: 10 weeks City, State: Spartanburg SC UTD on shots: first round of DAPP and first vet visit Spayed/neutered/intact: intact Good with: other dogs, have had no contact with cats or children Interested in rescue help: no We are asking for a rehoming fee due to the complications of the mama's pregnancy and the out of pocket expenses with the litter. The mom was a stray we took in and theres a whole story with a vet lying to us about her being pregnant then finding out that she was from another vet. We do believe Cody will be larger than her more towards the 60lbs range. We love him but unfortunately do not have the time needed to dedicate to a new puppy. He does know sit, down, amd wait for food.
