Story
Chester will be 13 in October. He doesn't have much of a sense of humor, but will love on you if you let him. He would love someone to cuddle with. He is house trained and knows "sit" but will do so reluctantly (sweet but stubborn old man). He currently lives with two dogs (he has known them since they were pups), but doesn't get along with all dogs. He'd probably appreciate being an only dog. He is having a rough time being around two bigger dogs that play too rough with his old bones. He is a short and squatty man with expressive brown eyebrows. His little legs and old age are starting to lead to problems going up/down stairs. If you asking him a question, he will usually answer yes by licking his chops. He is used to a fenced in yard with plenty of space to run, but can be a bit territorial when other dogs walk by. Ultimately Chester would love someone to show him some love as he begins to slow down. Cuddles, small comfy bed, and some squirrel watching are all he needs.

Story
I had to put my dog of 15 years down and I was so sad. I wanted to help another dog and fill the void left by my sweet pooch. I saw nuke at the shelter and he is a silly boy. He runs with his tongue hanging out and he is the sweetest dog. I brought him home and he acted like a regular youngster at first. Now he is in the chew phase and no matter what I give him to chew on he finds things he shouldn't. I work a job where I am desk bound and can't keep an eye on him in the back yard. He is destroying my flower beds, garden equipment, shoes gloves really just about everything he can get in his mouth. He is worth having as long as he can be monitored and you can afford to replace what he chews. I will miss his sweet kisses and the tender way he had. Hopefully someone will take him and enjoy him.

Bella is a young dog, her exact age is unknown, but she is approximately 18 mo. to 2 years old. She is a short-haired dog with a lovely brindle patterned coat, and has a long, almost hunting dog physique. She is a medium-sized dog, weighing 43 lbs. at her last vet visit. Bella is energetic, so she loves to play, run, and chase squirrels/birds(which she never catches, lol). She is about 25% pitt so she definitely will sound the alert if she sees any movement near the house. She can be very sweet and loving, and enjoys cuddling on the couch. Like many dogs, Bella is a chewer, so she keeps her chew toys nearby. She is also a snacker; she loves dog and people snacks! Currently, she is an indoor dog, but she likes to go outside frequently. She definitely needs a home with a fenced yard because she can be a real escape artist! Bella would love to have another dog(or dogs) to play with, ideally dog(s) that are her size or a little bigger.
