Story
We rescued Monrovia (Moe for short) from the Humane Society last year after hearing about the hoarding incident. Moe was not a vocal dog during our visit and allowed my husband and I to walk around with him at their facility. Upon bringing him home, we established a routine very early on and he adapted quickly with very few soiling accidents. He is very agile, athletic and loves to cuddle. With the right environment, he will be a great addition.. We think there is a better environment for him to thrive in, not to mention three of our family members have allergies that have only gotten worse since getting him.

Story
We adopted Arizona in late january from a local shelter, so she’s microchipped, spayed, and UTD on shots. Though her and our older dog got along well at first, the tension has risen in the household and they just cannot seem to work it out even through slow socialization on and off neutral grounds. i think she’s maybe just a bit too much for our 8 year old rescue pittie, she has a few triggers from her life before us. so to avoid anyone getting hurt or suffering from being separated from the family i’d like to explore other options for arizona. arizona, previously “pearl” at the shelter, was a stray that was picked up as a puppy. sadly, she spent the next few months in the shelter with little to no interest. arizona was on the euthanasia list the week we adopted her, she deserves so much more than that. she loves to fetch, she loves to run, and she loves to play. she’s such a sweet, rambunctious, funny girl with a BIG personality to match. she’s so eager to explore and make pals!

Story
Honey is an absolute treasure of a dog. He is smart, loving, and kind to every person and animal he sees. We adopted Honey from a foster family as a puppy where he spent his time with several other cats and dogs. We have personally witnessed him with other dogs, children, and babies. He also lives at home with a one year old he’s been around since birth. He is crate trained and house trained as well. We are seeking a loving forever home for Honey as we are relocating and will not be able to keep him when we move in July. His ideal home would be with a family with lots of space to run around outside and other dogs to play with to help him get his energy out. He is an absolute goofball but the best kind. Possible dealbreaker is that Honey LOVES to play in dirt. We are willing to meet interested families in person so you can meet Honey before you adopt.

Story
Jude is a sweet girl. She is energetic and loves to play, she likes to cuddle and chase bumblebees in the yard. She loves people but she is a jumper! Always overly excited to greet you at the door. Jude is a 2 or 3 year old mutt. She looks a lot like a Dutch Shepherd, I think maybe mixed with Pit Bull only because she is kind of small and full of energy and silliness. Jude loves people but does not get along with other animals. She has a ferocious bark when someone is at the door but she is all bark and NO bite. She has never bitten anyone. To be completely transparent, she pulls a lot when walked. She is happy to get on a leash and go outside, but she just wants to explore so bad and see everything she can be pretty jerky. Overall she is a wonderful and incredibly loyal companion. She is more loving than any dog I have ever met. She is my mom’s dog and my mom is unable to take care of her- I want a good home for her.

Story
We're re-homing our dog that we've had for over 6 years...since she was only a few weeks old. We initially rescued her after our daughter's teacher found her abandoned. We're going to be fully transparent with serious prospects. Recommended for households with no one under the age of 13 years old, and unless you're very good at training, recommended as an only pet as well. We haven't had a lot of luck socializing her with other animals. She was good with another dog for the first couple of years, but after that dog passed, her fear-based behavior hasn't gone well when other animals get within her comfort zone. We have a cat, but they stay separated by baby gates. They appear to like it that way as our dog appears to be afraid of our cat and vice versa. We do board her when we go out of town. She's spayed and recently updated on her shots. She's an inside dog: no hygiene accidents or anything like that. She is highly food motivated, so she's learned a few tricks. No young children

Story
Mia was a rescue from the area, I got her to be a little sister to our Lab back in May of 2023. We think she is around a year and half old. She has always been sweet as she can be with the kids. We have teenagers and she takes turns sleeping in their beds at night. She is house trained and crate trained, no accidents! However she can't be left unsupervised in the house. She chews on everything, even electrical cords. We have been trying so hard to break her of that and it seems to have moved for cords to the couch and window panels. She has severe separation anxiety mostly, so when left alone free in the living room she makes it known she isn't happy. If one of us goes outside and doesn't take her she will cry at the door. She won't run off or go off the porch unless it's fenced in or you walk her with a leash. She does hate cats with a strong vengeance. She will be getting fixed May 9th.

Story
Came up about a month ago, stays around the yard. Seems to be part Labrador based on size and color. Good with other dogs/puppies, cats, and kids. Very sweet temperament and loving. Never jumps up on me. Just wants to have belly rubs and lie in the sun. Would be a great pet for someone who needs a loving companion or another partner in crime. Truly a precious boy.
