Story
Sparrow will be 3 years old this coming August and still likes to chew toys and bones. He is crate trained and rarely has accidents however if indoors and not in his crate, you will need to let him out frequently. He knows how to "sit". He is very playful and would do best with a family that has a large fenced in yard. Since he is large and young, he is very rambunctious and would not be a good fit for someone with young children. He is strong and pulls when walked on a leash, so will need additional training. He has lived with cats and dogs, and likes to play with them. He is smart and very sweet - sometimes not realizing he is too big to be a lap dog. We would keep him except we have to move to a new location that will not accept pets of his size.

Story
Myra is a very smart 4 y.o. 25 lb lab mix came to us 3 mon. ago from a home that was not able to give her enough time, attention, & exercise. We have. She is: well trained, sweet, healthy, current on vaccines, well behaved with other dogs, kids, crowds, calm in chaos, crate & house trained. She has: flea/tick/heartworm meds for several months, leashes, collars, crate, beds, bowls, food, etc. Myra loves: to walk on leash, let us know strangers approach, learning new things, showing off. Our difficulty has been aggressive playing behavior: this happens with our other dog, our 12 y.o. son, & our chickens. She plays too rough & is causing minor injuries to the dog & boy & terrorizes chickens. She will be a great dog to someone or a smaller family where: “alpha” is clear, she is leash walked regularly, given regular “work” in form of commands & learning. We just can't provide that on a “farm” with many people coming into her territory.

Story
Mia was a rescue from the area, I got her to be a little sister to our Lab back in May of 2023. We think she is around a year and half old. She has always been sweet as she can be with the kids. We have teenagers and she takes turns sleeping in their beds at night. She is house trained and crate trained, no accidents! However she can't be left unsupervised in the house. She chews on everything, even electrical cords. We have been trying so hard to break her of that and it seems to have moved for cords to the couch and window panels. She has severe separation anxiety mostly, so when left alone free in the living room she makes it known she isn't happy. If one of us goes outside and doesn't take her she will cry at the door. She won't run off or go off the porch unless it's fenced in or you walk her with a leash. She does hate cats with a strong vengeance. She will be getting fixed May 9th.

Story
Came up about a month ago, stays around the yard. Seems to be part Labrador based on size and color. Good with other dogs/puppies, cats, and kids. Very sweet temperament and loving. Never jumps up on me. Just wants to have belly rubs and lie in the sun. Would be a great pet for someone who needs a loving companion or another partner in crime. Truly a precious boy.

Story
Sadie was rescued from a high kill shelter hours from being euthanized. She’s a very sweet girl that loves affection! She loves car rides, is fully crate trained, does well on a leash, and loves going on adventures. She's a relatively low energy dog that would be just as happy to lounge on the couch, but also up for any hiking/ walking adventure.

Story
We rescued Monrovia (Moe for short) from the Humane Society last year after hearing about the hoarding incident. Moe was not a vocal dog during our visit and allowed my husband and I to walk around with him at their facility. Upon bringing him home, we established a routine very early on and he adapted quickly with very few soiling accidents. He is very agile, athletic and loves to cuddle. With the right environment, he will be a great addition.. We think there is a better environment for him to thrive in, not to mention three of our family members have allergies that have only gotten worse since getting him.
