Story
We got Maverick from my current roommate’s terrible ex roommate. she adopted him on a whim and then we took him once she didn’t want him anymore. he is a great dog, but he requires a lot of attention and will need some good training to be a well-behaved dog. He has a lot of energy, and we just don’t have the time between long work hours and other responsibilities to take him on long walks. it’s not fair to him, so we need to find him someone good who will take him on hikes/walks and can give him all the attention he needs.

Story
Hi! Our sweet little girl is in need of a new home. We fostered her in Atlanta a few months ago and instead of returning her to the kill shelter, we moved her with us to NC. She’s almost 2 years old, has medium energy and can be playful but also enjoys relaxing and snuggling. She’s house trained, potty trained, crate trained but does need training for better recall, jumping at times, and to keep up her current commands. She knows sit, stay/wait, shake, and touch - which she learned very quickly. We wanted to make it work with keeping her as she’s such a sweet dog and a great companion for our older dog, but we have a newborn and have realized she deserves a life with someone who can give her more attention like walks, snuggles (on the bed and couch :-)), and where she can be playful without worrying about a baby. She’s the sweetest girl who loves people, dogs, going for walks/adventures/hikes, and snuggling. We want the best home and family for her, she truly deserves it.

Story
I adopted Jilley in 2019 from an older woman. The woman had recently adopted Jilley and did not know much about her. I decided that I would take Jilley given my veterinary background and with being much younger and able to handle her. I knew when I got Jilley that she is very dog reactive and we were unsure how she would be with cats. After getting her adjusted to her new home I began introducing my cats to her with practically no issue, she would get very riled up if the cats were fighting and was very territorial of her bed spaces but no issues otherwise. Fast forward to this year and now I have a toddler. We were unsure how Jilley would be around a small child and outside of some grunts here and there when he would get close to her bed there were no issues. Recently though there was an incident in which Jilley snapped at my son and almost injured him and my wife and I had always said that if anything like that occurred we would no longer be able to care for her.

Story
I need to rehome my sons dog Rosie. He had to move and couldn't take her with. we have been keeping her for him in a camper on our property hoping to integrate her into our home. We have tried numerous times itjust isnt going to work. , she does not get along with our dogs. She needs a good stable home as the only dog with no cats. She is very allergic to cats and does not like them and will chase them at first opportunity. She is 8yrs old and still spunky and loves everyone. Loves belly rubs and chilling with you in your arms. She is a ham and is great with older kids. Is doggie door potty trained. Loves to play with toys.
