Hello, my name is Piper and I’m 1.5 year old lab mix. I’m very sweet and lovable. I’m a little shy at first but will warm up quickly. I love playing tug with other dogs and I’m always up for a treat. I do great in a crate and also I am great with kids. I love squeaky toys and get excited for walks.

Story
Pete, 8 months old, belonged to an elderly woman who had to go into hospice care. She surrendered Pete along with his two sisters, Brandy and Susie, to me on March 7, 2024. Of the 7 dogs she had, he was her favorite. And for good reason: along with being so darn cute, Pete is very loving, playful, and affectionate. He loves to run very fast and chase anything you can throw- balls, sticks, whatever. He can be shy when first meeting someone new, and needs time to warm up. He likes other dogs as long as he is properly introduced with a leash-walk, even just 5-10 minutes. He does not react to my cats. He is a nice size at around 36 pounds. He likes to go on walks, and just be with his person. Pete is crate-trained and because he is still a puppy, he needs to be supervised when inside the house. I am unsure about how he is with children. Because he can be nervous with new people and new situations, he might be best in a home with older children (age 14 and up), or no children.

She can be shy when first meeting someone new, and needs time to warm up. She likes other dogs as long as she is properly introduced with a leash-walk, even just 5-10 minutes. She does not react to my cats. She is a nice size at around 40 pounds. She likes to go on walks, and just be with her person. Susie is crate-trained and because she is still a puppy, she needs to be supervised when inside the house. She seems nervous around young children. Because of this, and also that she can be nervous with new people and new situations, she might be best in a home with older children (age 14 and up), or no children. </p

Brandy, 8 months old, belonged to an elderly woman who had to go into hospice care. She surrendered Brandy along with her two siblings, Pete and Susie, to me on March 7, 2024. She is so darn cute, and very loving and affectionate. She is calm and inquisitive, and after some initial pulling, walks calmly on the leash. She can be shy when first meeting someone new, and needs time to warm up. She likes other dogs as long as she is properly introduced with a leash-walk, even just 5-10 minutes. She does not react to my cats. She is a nice size at around 44 pounds. She likes to go on walks, and just be with her person. Brandy is crate-trained but does not like being in there. Because she is still a puppy, she needs to be supervised when inside the house. She seems nervous around young children. Because of this, and also that she can be nervous with new people and new situations, she might be best in a home with older children (age 14 and up), or no children. </p </p>
