Story
Petunia is a stray about 1-2 yrs old that found us sometime in February. We are fostering her for Independent Animal Rescue, and her official adoption will be through them. *She is heartworm positive* Petunia is very sweet and loves attention. She's been great around our 4 year old child and our 2 dogs. She is eager to please and very loving, and she's done great with basic training so far. She's food and attention motivated. She likes to run and play with all kinds of toys (and sticks) :) She will be spayed before adoption, but she'll need ongoing heartworm treatments. She is the sweetest thing and deserves a good home!

Story
Milo was found chained to a pole of a vacant house. My elderly mom has tried to keep and nurture him but he is too big and strong for her to handle, He loves outside, really loves it. He enjoys long walks and rides to the park. Hoping to find a safe home for him to grow and run freely..

Story
Leo is an independent, chill dude that loves to lay on the couch with you. He is an old soul and is very gentle and loves to be petted. He was a rescue and is approximately 8-10 years old. He really needs to be in a 1 dog household with adults or older children only. He would prefer to be outside in a fenced in backyard.

Story
Benji is an energetic lovebug. He loves to be the center of attention and is a very happy pup. I adopted him in 2018 from a rescue in KY and have loved him since the first time I picked him up. He's 7 years old and, although he doesn't have a lack of energy, he's content lying around all day. We had a fenced in back yard but he'd still spend most of his time inside. He is a pure sweetheart of a dog. He's not been around kids so unsure about that (I typically kept him away from small kids on walks because I was afraid he'd jump on them to lick their face and knock them over). I do also have a cat and, do they get along? It's not that he doesn't get along with her, it's more she doesn't want much to do with him. I mean, it's 70 lbs against 15 lbs so she's a little outnumbered on the scale there. He's a jealous boy - hence the mention of "loves to be the center of attention" comment which resulted in my cat not getting much momma time unless Benji is at camp.

Story
Sway has been a beloved family pet for the past 7 years. It breaks our hearts that due to a job change and international move we have to find him a new home. Sway would be great in either a family setting or with a single adopter. He is very laid back and adaptable to a variety of situations. He was born with a slight tremor, hence the name ‘Sway’. His shake doesn’t impact his mobility or quality of life, it is simply a quirky trait of his, we find it quite endearing and we think you will too. If you’re looking for a loving, easy going dog, Sway is your guy!

Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Raj is a great dog, she is sweet, loyal and knows how to listen. She has grown up with children and around other dogs. She has a strong herding instinct and is a great guard dog. She loves love but can become possessive over people and can get jealous of other dogs around that person. We have two male Huskies who we’ve had since pups; they have a totally different energy. They generally get along, but Raj’s jealousness prevents us from being able to get too close to her. We got Raj when some family member who were living with us moved out, but were unable to take Raj with them. Her ideal environment would be a family with children and no other pets.
