Story
Oreo is a super energetic playful pup. She is eager to please and sometimes doesn’t realize her size when playing. She would do best with a family that has a yard she can run around and play in. She is super sweet and just wants to be around you. She attended a 6 week board and train facility, however, she still needs to be worked on with leash walking. She gets so excited that she tends to pull a bit on the leash. She is really good with kids and other dogs. She just sometimes forgets she’s a bit bigger. She’s a good girl and will make a special family very happy

Story
Penny is a sweet girl who loves pets and snuggles. She is utd on all vaccinations and spayed. She is crate trained, but sometimes gets lonely and barks from her crate. She is about 2-3 years old and has lots of energy to play. She is good with kids as we have kids ranging from 2 months to 5 years old. She has always been super sweet with them. She loves to play with other dogs and has lots of playfulness. She is potty trained and is good motivated as well. She has done a 6 week training class at a dog training board and train facility. However, she still needs some work with being on a leash. Overall, she is super sweet and makes a great companion and snuggler.

Story
Artimus turned 6 years old in December, he is 80lbs and a mixed breed boxer. He is great around kids (although due to his size and energy probably older kids would be good as he tends to knock others over:)). He lived with my parents' boxer for years so I think he would be fine with other dogs. He is currently living with my mom in her 55 plus community and just is becoming too much for her.

Story
Rocky is a great dog, we’re just not the right home for him. His owner, my partner’s son, died earlier this year and we’re taking care of him, but it’s clear he needs more than we can give him. He has no boundaries and loves everyone he meets. A little consistent training would likely help with the boundaries. He also needs A LOT of attention, like 8-year old kid run and play kind of attention. Rocky is house and crate trained. He does not like the squirt bottle and will seriously consider his actions if he thinks he’s likely to be squirted. Full disclosure, he has peed on bags/boxes in the floor, but I’m guessing this most likely stems from boredom and his need for attention. Other Rocky facts: He’s 5-6 years old, weighs 60lbs, and is neutered. Drools like crazy when in a car. Walks ok on a leash but can be leash aggressive to other dogs, lots of barking and lunging (mostly I think because he’s excited, just doesn’t necessarily appear that way).

Story
Nox was born July 2022, so he's about 3.5 years old. We adopted him as a puppy. He's a very good boy overall - he's extremely sweet and snuggly and LOVES all people. He's very healthy and active; he loves to go for walks and do training exercises! Nox is 1/3 lab, 1/3 rottweiler, and 1/3 pit bull. He needs a home without other animals - ideally with a single individual or couple who can give him their love & attention. He doesn't get along with other dogs or cats. He tolerates dogs (but doesn't enjoy having pet sibings & doesn't do well at daycare) and chases cats. He's the sweetest boy with people! Nox has been through a few rounds of professional training. He is crate-trained (sleeps there at night) and e-collar-trained (positive reinforcement only), and would make a great companion for the right people! He'd hike with you all day and snuggle with you all night. He's used to the luxury of being a spoiled indoor dog and we're looking for someone who can give him that life.

Story
Gideon is a 5 year old mixed breed dog we adopted from Saving Grace in Durham. He was 8 weeks old at the time of his adoption. He loves hugs and attention and enjoys cuddles and is house trained. He regularly visits his vet at Banfield Pet Hospital and is loved by the staff at Camp Bow Wow on Bennet Rd in Durham. He typically visits on a weekly basis and we board him there when necessary. We have decided to rehome him due to my increased travel schedule. He is a really good dog, but with my schedule, it is difficult to give him the attention he craves. We will include the following: Dog crate, 2 dog beds, 6 months of Simpirica Trio, a bookbag, 2 leashes and multiple bottles of shampoo and brushes.
