Story
Looking to rehome our sweet perfect dogs, Bear and Hershey. We have to move into a rental and cannot take them. They’re a sibling pair, we rescued them two years ago and they must stay together. They’re 2.5 yrs old, mixed breed, medium size, and both fixed. They love to be outside, go on walks, run and play together, and sleep together in a crate at night. They also do well off leash and enjoy hikes and running in open spaces. They’ve lived with our son through his baby and toddlerhood as well as our cat and done really well. They love people so much but would not like to live with a dog that is larger than them (they’re about 30-35lbs each). Ideally they’d have a fenced in backyard with full access. We are located in Raleigh but happy to meet up.

Story
If you are looking for the most loving dog in the world you’ve found him. When I get home from work, Bane is in no hurry to go outside or eat or anything other than wait for you to sit on the floor and hug him as long as you can. He would be an INCREDIBLE emotional support dog. He has been around other dogs and cats without a single issue. He is very timid at first when meeting new people, but after fifteen minutes he wants nothing more than for you to sit with him and hold him. I’ve never met a sweeter dog in my life. Bane came to my house to prevent him from being sent to the pound by a family who could no longer care for him. They had two very young children that he loved dearly. I want to find Bane the perfect companion and need to do it quickly as I’m finding homes for the last of my fosters before I leave for flight training. Please contact me at (xxx) xxx-xxxx with any questions at all or to get some videos and more info on Bane. He is such a loving boy he deserves the best life!

Story
Turner is very sweet but can be reactive at times with other dogs and people. We have a baby coming in February and I’m feeling nervous about him interacting with a newborn. Ideally, we would rehome him just to eliminate the risk altogether. If you or anyone you know would be open to adopting a sweet dog, let me tell you more about him! He’s a 3 year old male pit/lab mix. He’s 75 pounds but loves to cuddle up right next to you, responds pretty well to treats, and loves looking out the window. For 98% of the time, he’s super sweet and easy. We’ve worked with a trainer to help with commands, but he’s pretty protective of his people. 2% of the time, he finds dogs that he just doesn’t like and wants to bark at them. And he’s good around people unless he feels threatened or they get in his space.

Story
Hazel was my grandmother's pet. My grandmother passed in September and I am about to head back to college and am unable to care for Hazel any longer. She is about 8 years old, is quite shy at first, but warms up pretty quickly. She is not good with young children, but otherwise does well. She is so sweet and living and wants nothing more than to curl up in someone's lap.

Story
We rescued Sadie as a puppy. We were told she was a basset hound mix. She is some sort of terrier/hound dog mix. She has the terrier beard and grinchy paws, but long hound dog ears. She is 4 years old. Sadie is friendly once she gets to know you, but definitely shy with new people. She is more timid with men vs women. She enjoys lounging on the dog bed, bed and couch. She is very laid back, but does enjoy walks and would love land to run around on or someone with a large backyard. She does not enjoy the company of cats, but does well with other non dominant dogs. Sadie is very food dominant and will resource guard. She is crate trained due to our current situation, but does well out of a crate when alone.
