He loves to play – and can get very silly, especially if tummy rubs are on the line. He enjoys running around with other dogs in dog parks and is quick to submit if an alpha is around. With 37 lbs of muscle, Cosmo is a solid medium-sized companion. While his boxy head and loud voice can make him appear bossy, he has a gentle side and will cuddle as much as he can. He is highly obedient and loves to please his people. He has been trained with the Mini Educator e-collar and responds to it instantly. He knows sit and will stay on place until released. He walks well on a leash and is housetrained.

Freya: Spayed Female Shepherd Mixed Breed, 35 lbs, about 4.5 years old Freya is a scent hound who loves to go on walks and will swim for hours when given the chance! She tends to keep to herself until she bonds with her people – and then her inner golden retriever comes out and she will nuzzle your empty hand and try to climb into your lap. With black-and-tan markings, Freya has excellent eyebrows – but her beauty secret is her “flippy fur” - akin to the flippy sequin craze of yesteryear – when you rub her fur in the other direction, it shows a different color! Freya is a lovebug and will insist on licking faces. She also has a strong prey drive and loves to chase squirrels. She knows sit and will (mostly) stay on place until released. Freya has been trained with the Mini Educator e-collar and responds to it instantly. She walks well on a leash and is housetrained. I hate rehoming her, but I need to with my divorce, my new landlord, my teen's health issues, and my brain injury.

Story
I adopted May from the Guilford County Animal Shelter when she was about 8 months old, so now she is roughly 14 months old. She is a sweet, funny girl with lots of energy and lots of quirks. I am absolutely devastated to have to think about rehoming her, but I don't think I'm the person she needs. May needs tons of exercise and mental stimulation - really, she needs a job. I'm a runner and she can easily hold her own on even a 15-mile run, and she gets tired for about 5 minutes after that, then wants to play. She LOVES other dogs and would thrive best in a home with other playful animals that could help get her energy out and keep her entertained. She is fully housebroken and has been to training, but has trouble listening when she's excited so she likes to jump and play-bite. For that reason, she would probably do best in a house with older kids, and with an experienced owner. I really hope she can find the loving home she deserves with someone who has more time to focus on her.

This decision has not been easy, and I want to make sure she finds a family who can give her the time, attention, exercise, and affection she deserves.Vada is looking for a family who will cherish her, take her on walks, spend quality time with her, and make her a beloved part of their lives. She has so much love and companionship to offer in return.I have received permission from the organization I adopted Vada through to rehome her and can provide documentation confirming this.

Robbie is a very well-mannered senior man, believed to be a little over 13 years old, but that doesn’t stop him from enjoying running & playing! Robbie is very sweet and mostly calm, but he still dances around when he sees you. Sadly, Robbie’s owner passed away a few months ago and the house Robbie lives in is in foreclosure with nowhere else for him to go. Robbie gets along well with all humans, cats, lady dogs and some male dogs, although toy play with other males can get too rough and feeding should be done separately. Please help this sweet, old boy spend his golden years comfortable and loved!
