Story
Loyal and affectionate family dog who thrives around children. Gentle, patient, and playful with kids, making her a wonderful companion in a family setting. She loves the outdoors and has lots of playful energy, so she’ll be happiest with a family who enjoys walks, backyard games, or adventures outside. She can be selective with other dogs, so slow and careful introductions are best. Ideal for a loving home where she can enjoy plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship with her people.

Story
**UPDATE** Due to my other dog's declining health, I am seeking short-term fostering (likely 3 months, possibly less) rather than rehoming for Little Bear. Little Bear is a beautiful 3 year old, 27 lb dream boy who does the best head tilts and likes to be held like a little lamb. He is mellow, snuggly, goofy, gentle, and generally quiet. He thrives around other dogs, and is wary-to-afraid of cats. It is very important to him that he be in daily contact with other dogs. Little Bear is a perfect angel and I would keep him if I could! Unfortunately, my pre-existing dog, who is blind and elderly, wants to murder him - so it is not safe or fair for Little Bear or my other dog to continue living together. Little Bear was originally rescued from a hoarding situation in VA in May 2025 and I adopted him a month later. I'm so proud of how he's flourished and adapted to living in a normal home. He is so resilient and open-hearted despite what he's been through!

Story
It is with a super heavy heart that we must rehome our six year-old mixed breed rescue. She is a funny, lovable, super playful 63 pound Heinz 57 clown. She is spayed, healthy up-to-date on vaccines. She went through training as a pup and would be able to start following the commands again if repeated every day, she is very smart. She does still follow basic commands. housebroken, crate trained at night but would love to sleep with you! She LOVES to play fetch, she LOVES the water. Very treat oriented and will follow commands quickly. If there is a treat involved, she will remember how to heal on a leash for walks and could possibly be trained to be your run, buddy she is OK with medium and large dogs, she thinks small dogs are chew toys. Would do best as your sole doggy and limited time with larger dogs initially. She is a cuddler and wants to be your one and only #1! She hasn't been around cats or small children. She will make a great dog with the best loving energetic human!

Story
My name is Nina (or "Neeners!"). I was born on April 1, 2025, to a Rescue mutt, and I don't know what kind of doggo I am. I don't have high energy; I like to play but am also happy sleeping in the sun or beside a person. I love my people. I'm not here because I'm bad. I never did anything wrong! I don't snap or growl, I don't chew on anything that doesn't belong to me, and I don't start barking when other dogs in the neighborhood do. I'm interested in people food but never try to steal it. I am pretty timid. I'm the kind of doggo who when you step on my foot, I crouch down and apologize. I get scared of loud noises like construction. Sometimes I need to be told "it's not scary", with my chest being rubbed. That always makes me feel better. I think cats are puppies and want to play, but I never hurt them. I think I would like to be in a house with more dogs to play with; I was fostered with my siblings and I think I miss them. But if I have my people, I am happy.

Story
Nox was born July 2022, so he's about 3.5 years old. We adopted him as a puppy. He's a very good boy overall - he's extremely sweet and snuggly and LOVES all people. He's very healthy and active; he loves to go for walks and do training exercises! Nox is 1/3 lab, 1/3 rottweiler, and 1/3 pit bull. He needs a home without other animals - ideally with a single individual or couple who can give him their love & attention. He doesn't get along with other dogs or cats. He tolerates dogs (but doesn't enjoy having pet sibings & doesn't do well at daycare) and chases cats. He's the sweetest boy with people! Nox has been through a few rounds of professional training. He is crate-trained (sleeps there at night) and e-collar-trained (positive reinforcement only), and would make a great companion for the right people! He'd hike with you all day and snuggle with you all night. He's used to the luxury of being a spoiled indoor dog and we're looking for someone who can give him that life.
