Story
**Adopt Lili: Your Future Adventure Partner!** Meet Lili, a spirited 1.5-year-old Shepherd mix in search of her forever home! Lili is bursting with energy and would thrive in a household that enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and long walks. She is eager to romp and play with her canine companions, although she is best suited to live with non-dominant female dogs due to her dominant nature. Currently residing in a foster home, Lili coexists harmoniously with other female dogs, as long as she takes the lead. She also shares her space with kitties and regularly interacts with babies and small children, showing her gentle and affectionate nature. Lili adores children and is completely indifferent to cats, making her a versatile addition to a family. This sweet and playful pup has a fun-loving spirit and is always ready for snuggles after a day of play. Lili is incredibly smart, picking up new commands and tricks effortlessly! Lili is fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and spayed, making her ready to find her new family. If you’re looking for a loving, energetic companion who will bring joy and adventure to your life, Lili is the perfect fit! **Contact us today to meet Lili and discover the joy she can bring to your home!**

Story
We rescued Sadie as a puppy. We were told she was a basset hound mix. She is some sort of terrier/hound dog mix. She has the terrier beard and grinchy paws, but long hound dog ears. She is 4 years old. Sadie is friendly once she gets to know you, but definitely shy with new people. She is more timid with men vs women. She enjoys lounging on the dog bed, bed and couch. She is very laid back, but does enjoy walks and would love land to run around on or someone with a large backyard. She does not enjoy the company of cats, but does well with other non dominant dogs. Sadie is very food dominant and will resource guard. She is crate trained due to our current situation, but does well out of a crate when alone.

Story
Griffey is a loyal and Kind dog to people. We are giving him up because our lives have become increasingly busier and we can no longer give Griffey the attention he needs and deserves. When he can get the exercise he needs he is well behaved (You wont find a dog who loves to fetch more than him). When he does not, he can be prone to some mischief like tearing up dog beds, digging holes, peeing in the house...things like that. Griffey does not play well with other dogs but has no problem with other animals. We have a toddler at home who Griffey has been kind and loving to. He can be ornery and has nipped at hands whenever someone does something like try to pick him up or move him while he is sleeping. Given that, I still would not consider Griffey an aggressive dog. I have owned Griffey for 10 years and this is a very difficult decision but the best one for our family. We really hope that Griffey can find a loving home and do not want to have to give him to a shelter.

Story
We got Millie while living in Kenya in April '20. She came with us when we moved to Uganda in April '21 and then to the US when we moved back in May '23. She is a world traveler! Millie has been an inside dog who slept in our bed, an outside only dog, a guard dog who defended our compound in Uganda, and now a semi-acclimated American dog. We are heartbroken to rehome her, but our main reason is that she is not good with children. She gets nervous around kids and has nipped at 2 kids before (eye brow and mouth - both drawing a small bit of blood). We are not able to give her attention and exercise she needs to help her be calm. Millie is incredibly sweet and cuddly and will be your absolute best friend, she loves to play and is great with other dogs if introduced in neutral territory or another dog's territory. She's also very protective and territorial, she's a great guard dog. She needs plenty of exercise and space to run around. She would be happy with another dog to play with.
