Story
Turner is very sweet but can be reactive at times with other dogs and people. We have a baby coming in February and I’m feeling nervous about him interacting with a newborn. Ideally, we would rehome him just to eliminate the risk altogether. If you or anyone you know would be open to adopting a sweet dog, let me tell you more about him! He’s a 3 year old male pit/lab mix. He’s 75 pounds but loves to cuddle up right next to you, responds pretty well to treats, and loves looking out the window. For 98% of the time, he’s super sweet and easy. We’ve worked with a trainer to help with commands, but he’s pretty protective of his people. 2% of the time, he finds dogs that he just doesn’t like and wants to bark at them. And he’s good around people unless he feels threatened or they get in his space.

Obi was found with his brother neglected and tied up at 9 months old. They were malnourished which stunted their growth. Now at 1 year old, he is a healthy weight and full of energy and love! Ready to find a cuddle partner who can love him the rest of his life! He is young and very very hyper. Loves playing fetch. Only responsible applicants please apply. Must stay on top of vet appointments, walk with harness and leash, have a safe fenced yard and can afford a pet.

Story
We rescued Sadie as a puppy. We were told she was a basset hound mix. She is some sort of terrier/hound dog mix. She has the terrier beard and grinchy paws, but long hound dog ears. She is 4 years old. Sadie is friendly once she gets to know you, but definitely shy with new people. She is more timid with men vs women. She enjoys lounging on the dog bed, bed and couch. She is very laid back, but does enjoy walks and would love land to run around on or someone with a large backyard. She does not enjoy the company of cats, but does well with other non dominant dogs. Sadie is very food dominant and will resource guard. She is crate trained due to our current situation, but does well out of a crate when alone.
