Story
I adopted Bowden from an animal shelter in Columbus last October. He's a truly wonderful, sweet, playful, intelligent, and kind-hearted dog. My son and I would love to keep him, but he needs more time and training than we can offer right now, especially because of his playful mouthing. He's house- and kennel-trained, but he needs to be let out at least every 4 hours to prevent accidents. He really enjoys car rides, is generally easy to walk, and knows "sit" and "stay", although his recall isn't perfect yet. A fenced-in yard would be perfect for him to romp around safely.

Story
I adopted Mercury when he was 7 months old in May of 2020. He is now 6 and a half and is good with dogs and cats (he does need time to aggressively sniff any new cat though lol). I would like him to be in a home with someone who also has a strong personality. He can be pushy , especially when he wants something he isn't supposed to have. He will try to eat out of the cat box and he will get up on counters to get human food if he isn't watched. He does not listen to my partner or 13 year old daughter when they tell him no. He barks at someone that tries to take something away from him that he isn't supposed to have. He is crate trained though he does have separation anxiety and bellows for a while after being put in the crate he does eventually calm and go through sleep. He also has a happy tail from being in the crate. I'd describe him as strong willed, happy, and lazy. He loves just laying on his dog bed and eating treats or sun tanning in the front yard.

Story
Morty was a foster puppy we adopted about 3 years ago. We downsized our property a few months ago and Morty misses his yard. He has too much personality and spunk to be inside all day with 2 other dogs. He tends to be needy, sometimes timid, and likes to bark but is so loving. If you let him he will stick to you like Velcro. He desperately needs a home where he is the only dog, he needs to be the center of attention and be the alpha of the house. As of now our German Shepherd has that role and Morty is jealous. Morty would also love a yard to play in as well. He is crate trained, walks well on a leash, he sleeps in a dog bed or would love to cuddle with you. Car rides are not his favorite thing, he gets very nervous and usually vomits. But overall he is one of the most loving companions you could as for. Our new house and circumstances just aren't enough for this wonderful pup. If you have questions please ask.

I received Zoey at the One of a Kind Pet Rescue in August of 2023 I have taken her to Massillon Animal Clinic twice a year since I've had her. She has a Great Personality and as Loving as they come. It breaks my heart to have to give her up,but I am a 69 year old man who lives alone. The reason I'm looking for a home for her is: Her benefit I have COPD and cannot entertain her. She needs a loving family. She listens very well and will not leave your side. She Loves people and kids. If you are looking for a perfect match for your family please come and meet her

I’m really good on a leash and pay close attention, so walks with me are easy and fun 🚶‍♂️✨ I love other dogs and get along great with everyone, but I’m also really respectful if someone isn’t in the mood to play. I totally get it and will just do my own thing 😊 I’m not aggressive at all with people or dogs, I seriously love everyone I meet 💕 More than anything, I’m just dreaming of my forever home 🏡 somewhere I can have a consistent routine, feel safe, and get nice and cozy with my humans 🛋️ I promise to bring lots of love, calm energy, and happy moments into your life 💖

Story
Athena's owner has developed medical concerns that is interfering with his ability to care for her anymore. She is a very sweet, affectionate dog with very high energy levels. Athena has not received much training from her previous owner and needs to learn to walk on a leash without pulling. She is currently crated during the day but plays well with a senior dog in the evening. Athena will have to be surrendered if we can't find a safe home for her quickly.
