Story
Chip is a sweet 4 year old dog we adopted from a rescue when he was a puppy. He is very close to our family members but after the loss of our older dog, is increasingly stressed and reactive when the house is loud and chaotic as it frequently is with 2 teenagers and lots of friends coming and going. Chip loves to play fetch with his toys, loves to take walks and enjoys a good snuggle. We think he would be much happier in a home without kids and perhaps without other pets. He loved our older dog but has not gotten along well with others dogs that have come into our home and we have never seen him with a cat.

Story
Nikki is a medium/large dog (57 lbs current), of an unknown age and breed. She was adopted by my family in December of 2021 from a shelter in Portland, Ore as a Christmas present for my dad. Both of my parents have passed away, and I will be unable to take care of Nikki or the cats going forward. Everyone who sees Nikki's eyes comments on how big and blue they are. She is respectful of the cats, and is cautious/takes care if one is near her. She likes seeing what you are doing and will follow you around, especially if you go outside. She is housebroken, but is afraid of the rain and needs some coaxing to go outside in bad weather. Occasionally there are accidents, if no one is home for a few hours or if I don't wake up in time to let her out. She knows she needs to go out, but sometimes she can't hold it long enough. It was easily manageable when my dad was able to help let her in/out, but on my own, it is tough to keep track. She's never bitten anyone/the cats AFAIK, and is patient.

Story
Hank is a wonderful dog. He’s like family. We really are having a hard time seeing him go, but we know that he needs more attention. He is a love. He thinks he’s a lap dog he snuggles he gives you hugs he cuddles you if you can keep you warm at night in the winter. Hank knows commands and they are sit, leave it, release, lay down, calm, paw paws to clean his paws. Also he enjoys the water, sprinklers, showers, and the hose when you water the garden. He is very playful, he deserves a family that will take the time for him, and give him a whole bunch of love.

Story
Truffle (Tuff) a fun, sweet, and loyal dog who absolutely adores her people. Tuff is smart, affectionate, and loves being part of whatever is going on. She enjoys attention, is eager to engage with her family, and brings a lot of personality and joy to everyday life. She does great with kids and other animals. When she gets excited, she can be a little barky and jumpy, but she settles down once she has a chance to calm herself. We’re rehoming Tuff because, despite her many wonderful qualities, she is not safe living with our other dog, Arlo. She has gone after him multiple times and has injured him, so for everyone’s safety, she must be placed in a home without other dogs. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, but we love Tuff and want to find the right environment where she can be successful, happy, and safe. We’re hopeful there is a home out there that will appreciate what a special dog she is and give her the chance to shine.

A mama dog had 8 puppies under my parent’s house! They’re keeping the newly spayed mama. The puppies are named by their collar colors- look for green, purple, and orange! They are friendly, working on leashes and potty training. Yellow is a big, sweet boy. He’s active and excited about exploring his world. But also LOVES snuggles. Yellow takes his job as the largest of the litter seriously and can often be found guarding his people or his siblings. Not aggressive at all, just a watchful big brother.
