Story
Newt is a young, playful rescue dog from Panama. He was found in a rural village and brought to the U.S. to find a good home! He has been with us for the past months as we get him ready for adoption. Newt is very friendly with all people and kids. He would love nothing more than to play and snuggle all day. He loves strangers. He is crate trained, house trained, and not a big barker. He can be left alone during the work day with no problems. Newt loves to play with other dogs once he knows them, and he has done well with other dogs at dog sitters' houses. However, he can be leash reactive to other dogs out and about. He would need someone willing to work on this with him. We are not sure how Newt would do with a cat, as we do not have one. He is very food motivated, and has great training potential. He knows basic commands. Some other details: He weighs around 40 pounds, is around 1.5 years old, unknown breeds. No known allergies.

Story
Meet Onyx! He’s a 6½-month-old puppy that I adopted from the Southwest Washington Humane Society when he was 3½ months old. Onyx is sweet, affectionate, and loves people. He gets along well with other pets and rarely barks. Like most puppies, he can get a little overexcited during play, but he’s eager to learn. He knows the commands sit, lay down, kennel, and leave it, and he’s very food-motivated. This has been a difficult decision. I live alone, and my busy schedule has made it impossible to give Onyx the time, attention, and training he deserves. I want him to have the best chance to grow into an amazing adult dog rather than miss out on the consistency he needs. I’m looking for a loving home that will provide plenty of attention, exercise, patience, and continued training. Onyx is a wonderful dog with so much potential and will make an incredible companion.

I got him in October of last year, he is raised around 2 other small dogs. He has high energy and I just dont have the time to train him properly. He needs a big yard and tons of room to run and play . I am unsure what kind of dog he is because I got him off of crigslist when he was a puppy. He loves to play and play fetch as well as loves other dogs and kids . Thank you for reading.

We adopted Luke from a young family who could no longer take care of him. Our understanding is that he is close to 10 years old. Luke is a lover. He needs someone who is home often and able to shower him with affection. He is usually quite calm but still gets excited about chasing balls. Luke likes to wander so he needs a home with a fenced yard.

We've had Elijah since he was 2 months, along with our other Staffy mix whos a year older. Lately, Eli has become more of a resource guard and will instigate a fight with him. Our other dog then over powers him and hurts him. We are keeping them apart which is really hard because 90% of the time they get along great.
