Story
Ollie is an beautiful girl, est. to be 5 1/2 months due to her canine teeth that have started to come in. This means she is likely full size and won't grow much more. She is definitely a puppy, with all the puppy energy who is learning new things. Because she was dumped and came from a bad experience being locked up without care, she is slow to warm up, which means 2-3 days. She loves to run in the yard, to play fetch and to chew on her toys. I have brought her to socialize at the Lulling shelter where she loves to play with the other dogs. She tries to play with my cat, who wants nothing to do with her. She can be fearful, so at this time a home without children may be best. She is potty trained, though when I brought her to a friends she did pee on her rug! but at home we have not had accidents. She sleeps 9-10 hrs a night which she loves to do under my covers! She is spayed. She has gained more confidence with professional training and is now ready to go to her new home.

Story
Blair is a super smart, friendly, and energetic pup. She loves walks, hikes, car rides, and all kinds of dog games (Tug-of-war, fetch, and tag are her favorites!). I adopted her as a puppy from Austin Animal Center, and she is now 1.5 years old. She’s very social, especially with other dogs, and has done well with cats too. She is pretty strong and rough when she is playful , so she probably would not be ideal for a home with small kids. She is crate trained, potty trained, and only chews on toys she knows she is supposed to have. I don't ever give her stuffed animal toys because she tends to destroy those and make a mess. I’m looking for a new home for her because I live in a small apartment and can’t give her the space and consistency she needs long-term. Ideally, Blair would thrive in an active home with people who can keep up with her big heart and energy. She’s a joyful, loving dog who deserves a home that matches her spirit.

Story
My family and I adopted Beau from Austin Animal Center 2 years ago. He is a 3 year old mixed breed, resembling a lab, who loves walks, hanging out in the sun, and cuddling on the couch. He had been getting along great with our other dog, a mini-Aussie, before we introduced 2 kittens into the home. Beau had gotten on well with our old cat who passed last year, but the energy of 2 kittens and a 7 year old human in our small house has proven to be too much for him. We want the best for our dog, Beau, and after much careful deliberation have decided to seek out the quiet home that he deserves where he is the main attraction. He is fully housebroken, crate trained, and he knows a few tricks: sit, down, sit up, stand up, spin, shake, and touch (place). He does great with people when he is out and about, and he loves going to the pet store to try out beds and sniff the shelves. He's a good boy who needs a calmer environment to shine.
