Story
Sadie is a playful ball of energy, she loves spending her days outside enjoying the fresh air. I adopted Sadie during the start of the Covid pandemic when she was 12 weeks old. Being home all the time during the pandemic has caused her to have major separation anxiety, which makes it very hard for me to leave her alone. She does not do well with other animals and can be a bit shy and reserved with new people. She can very sensitive to noises such as fireworks and any other loud noises. She is currently 5 years old and has been living in a house but recently I have moved out and got an apartment and she is not adjusting well to it. I love my dog very very much but she needs to have the life she deserves with a big backyard and empathetic person to look after her.

Story
Blair is a super smart, friendly, and energetic pup. She loves walks, hikes, car rides, and all kinds of dog games (Tug-of-war, fetch, and tag are her favorites!). I adopted her as a puppy from Austin Animal Center, and she is now 1.5 years old. She’s very social, especially with other dogs, and has done well with cats too. She is pretty strong and rough when she is playful , so she probably would not be ideal for a home with small kids. She is crate trained, potty trained, and only chews on toys she knows she is supposed to have. I don't ever give her stuffed animal toys because she tends to destroy those and make a mess. I’m looking for a new home for her because I live in a small apartment and can’t give her the space and consistency she needs long-term. Ideally, Blair would thrive in an active home with people who can keep up with her big heart and energy. She’s a joyful, loving dog who deserves a home that matches her spirit.

Story
Sophie was originally a rescue dog from a shelter in Tennessee. She was found abandoned at McDonalds. Our family acquired Sophie when she was one year old. She was a playful dog and so sweet and gentle. She contracted a disease that destroyed her eyes and went blind when she was about 4 years old. She is currently 12 years old. Sophie has adapted well to being blind and can find her way around the house, find her food and water. Go up and down stairs and walks on a leash just fine. You just have to guide her and watch out for obstacles with her as she will trust you while walking and listen to your commands (like "up" when she needs to step up a curb, "no no" when she's heading for an obstacle etc). I have been through a divorce recently and I work full time. Since Sophie can't see she is at home alone a lot and in the dark as she can't see. She loves to just be near someone for a send of safety and love. I just can't give that to her enough due to working now.

Story
I live in Austin and saw this sweet girl on the streets of San Antonio while on a job. According to people in the neighborhood she’d been stray for about three weeks and looked to have just given birth when they first saw her. I went to a few shelters that were at capacity then called the humane society who gave me no helpful information on where to take her. I called 311 and the representative told me to “dump her in a less trafficky area” which was absolutely not going to happen so I took her home to Austin with me. I have another dog with pancreatitis that is like her big sister; they absolutely love one another. I took her to our vet where she got her vaccines updated, her ear infections taken care of, and got rid of her flea infestation. She got a clean bill of health from our vet and she’s a happy girl which is why this is kind of devastating for our little family. I will say she is a little escape artist so she needs a secure fenced in yard.

I adopted Ginger from Williamson county shelter, she is 4 years old with playful, loving, and gentle personality. I’m looking for a home that can give ginger the time and energy she deserves to live a full happy life. Ginger has never met a stranger(dog or person) and genuinely a sweet sweet girl.

Story
About a year old and has a lot of energy. Doesn’t like being left alone and I don’t have the time to train her as I’m just moving into a new apartment. Need a home for her as soon as possible as I can’t have her barking here when I’m gone. She’s a very energetic and loving dog and loves people. I normally feed her a full bowl in the morning and night but she doesn’t have the biggest appetite hence her being skinny. She does good not to pee inside as long as she is being taken out but could still use improvement. She doesn’t like to be left alone so needs training on that.
