Meet Emma! Before she ever knew what it was like to be someone’s “baby,” Emma was already being someone’s mom. This petite, little lady was found behind a dumpster on a busy Austin street, standing guard over her teeny tiny puppies. She protected them, fed them, and loved them while still barely more than a puppy herself. At just about a year and a half old, Emma stepped into motherhood with quiet strength and did an incredible job raising every one of her babies. And now, it is finally her turn. For the first time in her life, Emma gets to be the one who is cared for. The one who gets spoiled. The one who gets to learn what it feels like to be safe, cherished, and chosen. Despite everything she has been through, Emma’s heart is wide open. She is gentle, deeply loving, and devoted to her people. She follows her foster mom from room to room like a little shadow, always wanting to be close and always wanting to belong. She is crate trained, potty trained, wonderful with kids, respectful with cats, and great with most dogs. She plays beautifully with her foster siblings and would likely do well with a small, easygoing companion. She does not guard her food or toys. She is generous by nature. Her only “mischief” is her impressive talent for finding snacks on counters and tables when no one is looking. We like to call it creativity. 😂 Emma has that rare, perfect balance. She is joyful and playful, but also deeply affectionate. She loves racing around the yard, chasing squirrels, and soaking up sunshine. When playtime is over, she is happiest curled up beside you, tucked into bed, or resting her head on your lap. She is still learning her manners and figuring out the world, and she is eager to please. Training her is not a chore. It is a chance to bond with a dog who truly wants to connect. Emma is not a low energy couch ornament. She has some pep in her step and would thrive in a home that enjoys walks, playtime, and engagement. She will happily relax with you too, but she is best suited for a family ready to embrace her joyful, youthful spirit. What Emma is really looking for is simple. - A home where she can finally be someone’s “baby.” - A family who sees her not for where she came from, but for who she is. - People who will give her the love she has been giving others her whole life. If you are searching for a loyal companion, a joyful presence, and a dog who will love you with her whole heart, Emma is ready to be yours. Story
Roscoe is a VERY sweet, gentle pup looking for a loving new home after his owner passed away last year. We took him in to help, but with two dogs and a new baby, we stretched too thin to give him the attention he deserves. He's calm, affectionate, and loves to cuddle & he'll happily sit on your feet while you work or relax. He's wonderful with other dogs and small children (our young nephews have climbed all over him and he's been so patient!). Cats are unknown. Roscoe is house-trained and enjoys daily walks but is just as content lounging around the house. He gets excited when he sees his leash! He's very chill overall and rarely barks (mostly just when our dogs do). He's comfortable being home alone and is not destructive when allowed to roam. He loves his crate as a safe space but doesn't like being locked in it. He can be anxious, especially during rain (he may shake or skip a meal). We give him CBD oil with meals, which has helped, and we'e happy to provide a few months' supply.

Story
Rosie is a very calm and relaxed dog. She loves lounging around the house but will occasionally come up to get pets once she gets to know you. She can be shy at times but has a really sweet personality. Rosie enjoys going outside to lounge in the sun and lay around the house. She prefers being inside especially in the heat. Rosie would thrive in a quiet home where someone is looking for TV buddy or low maintenance dog. Rosie is crate trained and loves taking naps in her crate. I would definitely recommend one but if you are interested I can give you the crate she sleeps in now. Rosie is spayed and up to date on all of her vaccines. She is on no medication and is healthy. Rosie belonged to my mother when she was in a fatal car accident. I have been trying to take care of her but am in college full time, working at least 20 hours a week and do not feel like she is getting the care she needs. Please consider her in your search.

Story
Paisley is a high energy dog who enjoys pets and attention. She likes running around the house with a toy in her mouth and coming up with a wagging tail to get pets. Paisley would thrive in a house where someone wants a companion. She would do well with other dogs and older children. She would be a great house-dog for anyone wanting someone with them at the house. Paisley knows basic commands like sit and lay down. She is also well crate trained and enjoys being in her crate when there are loud noises like fireworks or gunshots because it makes her feel safe. She can come with her crate so no purchase necessary if you don't have one. Paisley spayed and up to date on all of her vaccines. She is overall very healthy. The only medication Paisley is on is 30 mg of fluoxetine once a day to manage her anxiety. The main reason I can no longer take care of her is because with college and work I do not have the time. She belonged to my mother before she very suddenly passed in a car accident.

Macho and Canela. The dinamic duo. Macho (male) has great pyranees in him. And Canela (female) is a red healer mix. I found them together and they are pretty bonded. I have separated them before for a few weeks and they were ok, but do better together. They would be awesome on a working farm or someone with lots of outdoor space. They are definitely outdoorsy. Really awesome with livestock and other pets and especially kids, they love children. I have recently received a medical diagnosis that will take up a lot of time. I'm no longer able to give them a good home. I am praying to find them a good home soon

We rescued Queso almost eight years ago after he was taken in after some tornadoes in Oklahoma. He's a great dog, and we love him very much, but we have recently had a baby and are looking to find him a new home. He is fully house-trained, knows many different commands, loves to fetch, loves to cuddle, and sleeps in his bed or yours. He is just protective of us, and we're going to have many different people in and out of our house with the baby. We would recommend a childless and catless home or an experienced dog owner We have looked into dozens of rescues and humane societies for help, and they are all full. We are willing to donate his first 6 months of expenses and food to get you started. We recently moved to the Charlotte area, but are willing to drive just about anywhere to find him a good home.
