Story
Hi, I adopted Aurora in Austin with my wife at the time. She is very sweet, but to be honest, after we had a divorce and I became the only one able to provide a roof for her with my crazy schedule, she has basically lost all house training. I am unable to give her a fraction of the time she deserves. She hasn’t been able to really socialize with dogs. The few times she has had a chance, she seemed alright, but it was short, so I don’t know past that. As for cats, I put yes, but she can be rough with the two cats I have now. Any time she does, the cats have always been able to stop it and she backs off. She will need lots of attention and someone who is ready for a dog that needs to be retrained. She does have slight possessive tendencies with food and toys. It’s normally only seen when she gets under a bed and rarely with food, but she has growled. Outside of that, she is incredibly sweet and loving. She can lay around and cuddle with you all day or go hiking all day.

Story
Soren – Gentle, Loyal Companion Seeking a Calm Adult Home Soren is a loving, affectionate dog who thrives in a calm, predictable home. He is house-trained, neutered, microchipped, and good with other dogs. He loves relaxed walks, lounging near his people, and being part of daily life. He’s not aggressive, but due to his size and occasional impulsiveness, he’s happiest in a home without young children — best with adults or older teens who can offer structure and calm.

Story
We are looking to rehome our sweet dog, Frankie. Frankie is 65 lb, neutered, and thought by our vet to be an Australian Kelpie mix. He’s ~ 2.5+ years old, high energy, athletic, smart, and loves people, including small children. Frankie lived peacefully with our other dog for over two years. However, over the past couple of months, Frankie has been involved in two dog-to-dog incidents: • One occurred when a gate was left unlatched and he went after a dog walking past our home with its owner. • Another occurred in our backyard with our other dog. Both incidents unfortunately required veterinary care. Because we have two very young children—one who runs toward the dogs whenever there is conflict—we no longer feel we can safely keep Frankie. We believe he’d thrive as the only dog in a home with an owner who can give him the mental stimulation and physical activity he needs and deserves. We suspect his recent aggressive behavior is due in part to not having enough of either.

Story
Cleo is a very sweet, but extremely anxious dog. I adopted her from the Austin Humane Society in the beginning of December 2025. She is scared of men. During walks she is very scared and intimidated by other people, dogs, and sounds. Potty training has been difficult. When she is scared or excited she will pee. She has separation anxiety. I don't want to make her trauma worse by taking her back to the humane society. She is a loving dog, but I am at my breaking point. Cleo is very playful and energetic. Cleo can sit, lay down, & follow 'kennel' command. She is up to date on everything. I will give you everything I have for her (treats, toys, beds, etc.).

Story
Cookie is fully house-trained, knows all basic commands, and walks very well on a leash with minimal pulling. He is eager to please, listens extremely well, and does best in a home with regular companionship, as he is very people-oriented and enjoys being near his family. He may be shy at first, but once comfortable, Cookie is outgoing, affectionate, and extremely cuddly. He is calm and low energy indoors but loves playing outdoors. He enjoys walks, outdoor play, toys, and spending time outside, then settles well afterward. Cookie loves attention and being around people of all ages. Cookie is excellent with children and is known for being gentle and patient.

Details
Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
We rescued Mocha from the euthanasia list. She’d just given birth to pups and was sad bc they were taken away. We already have 2 Pitt rescues, and hoped she’d fit right in. She gets along with them, but she wants all the attention. She gets very excited and riled up when she sees any small dogs bc she thinks they are her pups, and next door are 3 small dogs. Mocha barks and cries for them. Mocha is super sweet and very affectionate. She loves cuddles and will climb on top of you to snuggle, but she is also very excitable, and she needs self control around small pups. She needs a disciplined home. Our other dogs are laid back and they let Mocha be excited and just watch, but when Mocha is alone with us, when the other two dogs are out of the house, she is perfect; No jumping, great with company, obedient, and just an all around great dog. She is also kennel trained and has no issues there.

Story
She doesnt have any vet records (cannot afford) Located in Georgetown rehoming fee is $25. Laynie is a 3 year old mixed breed needing another home. Shes great with kids, pretty good on a leash, is not up to date on shots. She will come with everything that we have for her currently! She has been in our house for about a year now, but we cannot give her the life she deserves here. *adding information requested from comments* Originally "adopted" from another family moving out of state. Not sure how she does with pets. She was around a cat, but the cat hid from her not much interaction. Shed be good in any home that can make more time for her and either has a yard or time to take her out walking and running more to burn off energy. Shes goofy and loves cuddles. She is still a "puppy" so shes got a lot of energy but she can lay down and just relax as well. Im not sure weight maybe 40pounds. She is spayed

Story
Kaine is about 5 years old. He came from an abusive and neglectful home. He is potty and kennel trained. He is used to wearing a shock collar. He is unfortunately aggressive toward other dogs and cats. He is unpredictable around children. He has only bitten one person but he will growl, bark aggressively and attack other dogs at random. He is good on walks if he does not see any other dog or person. He barks constantly. He wants to go in and out of the house constantly. He can be sweet at times, he loves treats and is not food aggressive. He is very protective over his people and loves to nap. He would thrive with a single woman, no pets or children with a large backyard.
