My family and I adopted Beau from Austin Animal Center 2 years ago. He is a 3 year old mixed breed, resembling a lab, who loves walks, hanging out in the sun, and cuddling on the couch. He had been getting along great with our other dog, a mini-Aussie, before we introduced 2 kittens into the home. Beau had gotten on well with our old cat who passed last year, but the energy of 2 kittens and a 7 year old human in our small house has proven to be too much for him. We want the best for our dog, Beau, and after much careful deliberation have decided to seek out the quiet home that he deserves where he is the main attraction. He is fully housebroken, crate trained, and he knows a few tricks: sit, down, sit up, stand up, spin, shake, and touch (place). He does great with people when he is out and about, and he loves going to the pet store to try out beds and sniff the shelves. He's a good boy who needs a calmer environment to shine.

I've been fostering this absolute cutie pie, Huey, and we're looking for his forever home! Huey's a 1 year old Golden Shepherd mix. He's super affectionate, very playful and energetic, and gets along great with people and other dogs. He is house trained, but has minor resource guarding that we're working on when other dogs get too close to his food - he has been getting much better, and has been quick to pick up on training! He has a large crate, leash, collar, harness, and toys that are free to take as well.

Hunca Munca is happy with both adults and children, but would be best in a home with either only adults or a family with older children. She is a young dog who is still in her jumping and play-biting phase (nothing mean or aggressive), and has not trained out of this yet. Hunca Munca has a rowdy play style that is too much around small kids. She is well intentioned, but she is large enough to overwhelm small kids. Hunca Munca has a loving temperament, is eager to please, and is truly is a dog with so much love to give. She will be an amazing lifelong companion.

Buddy is a sweet, loving and excitable big headed cuddle buddy. He was adopted from the Austin animal shelter with heartworm issues and an unknown age. He was very lethargic, I knew he would be more active after treatment, however, I am older and have rheumatoid arthritis and severe degenerative disease in my knees and back. Once his treatments were finished and he finally got to feeling himself again I'm realizing that I am not the right person/living environment for him. He needs a yard or an owner who can be super active with him. He's a great listener and picks up quickly, is pad trained, he knows a few commands and even obeys the majority of them. I just don't have the physical ability to give hime the attention and training he deserves.

She is roughly a year and a half to two years old, she is great with large dogs and especially loves the XL dogs, she does have some slight eye sight issues when it is sunny outside but this doesn't slow her down at all and is only really prevalent when its super bright outside. Ziggy was found running in a busy street dodging cars in September when he was an older puppy. He was covered in fleas and it was clear he hadn’t eaten in awhile. We tried to see if he was just lost but no one claimed him. We have taken care of him since. He is very affectionate and loves his people. He loves to play. A lot. However, due to the age and health of one of our family members, and Ziggy’s boundless energy and need for training, we are not a good fit for him due to medical limitations. He is a herding breed we believe, and he needs someone young and energetic and able to train him. He would do amazing with someone who can walk him, and I see him being a great dog to take on hikes once he gets used it. He isn’t good for our older dog as she doesn’t play much, but he may do better with a more dominant energetic dog that can match his energy. We don’t know how he is with young children or cats, but he is good with teens.

Chibbs found his way to our home after being dumped escaping his previous owner. He was malnourished, skinny, and had a chain around his neck that by husband had to cut off. He’s come along way since then but he does continue to pee everywhere in the house when he is not supervised. This means Heb is kenneled a lot and I hate that for him. He is very sweet and thankful that people love him. I want him to go somewhere that he can be a dog and run around. We just moved into a neighborhood and he’s not adjusting well to the smaller years and my 2 senior dogs are starting to become agressive.
