Reginald (Reggie for short) was found dumped near Huns Rugby Field on the east side of Austin, TX. He is about 4-6 months old housebroken, leash trained, and good with kids/dogs/people. He is a PUPPY so definitely high energy but entirely treat/love motivated. I’ve been trying to find a long term foster but to no success. All shelters have turned me down and the reality is that if I can’t find a foster by tomorrow evening I will be out of options. Any offer to assist or foster would be greatly appreciated! this is ruby, an 8 month old mixed breed, intact female. she was found on the side of the road and estimated to be about 2 months old at the time. she was found by a good samaritan and brought into my work (vet hospital) during the evening. the next morning i came in and brought her home while people tried to look for the owner. no one claimed her. she has a clean bill of health and is fully vaccinated. she gets along with other dogs and cats. she is EXTREMELY high energy. she was doing great in my home but now there are fights with my other dogs and they are not getting along, not due to any aggression with her. i have a very busy schedule and work extremely long hours that i am not giving her the time and life she deserves. she would do best in a home where people are home more often than not, can train her, and be very active with her

Stray dog (been calling him Walter) was found in the heat of late August standing in the middle of the road. He was completely heat exhausted and seemed disoriented. Has been cared for for 2 months, but there are two additional pets in the house and although he is good with them, he needs special care. He is a senior and has severe skin allergies, is mostly blind and deaf, and seems to get separation anxiety at night -though melatonin supplements has eased that a bit. He is good natured and if taken out regularly is potty trained. Need to find a permanent home where he can get the care he needs and live out the rest of his days.

Charlie is an older dog, about 12 years old and is a cross breed between a German shepherd and a Labrador. She is very smart and learns quickly. She adopts to any adult and children but works and listens to adults better than children. She loves to have her belly rubbed. Charlie is food jealous and doesn’t like to share her food with other pets. She is also very protective of the house and will bark but will not bite. Her ideal home would need to have a yard and access to inside since she is an inside dog that is trained. She loves the outdoors and loves to run but will not run at other dogs and will not bark while being walked. Very well trained when walking outside. She is very loyal that first she will wait by the gate, rain or shine, waiting for her owner. With trust she will learn to trust new owner and responds very well to snacks and food. She loves to be taken for rides and at times will not want to get out of the car but peanut butter will do.

We adopted dougie from our local shelter. He gets along great with little kids, older kids, and adults. He also gets along with dogs that live in the home, doesn’t not get along with other dogs, but he just barks at them. He has never tried to attack. Does well walking on a leash. We are rehoming due to him following and at times chasing our cat at home. Otherwise, great dog!

She is house trained; she does not dash through doors. Saffie is calm and gentle and she is used to dogs and cats; I have not been lucky finding her a playmate; though we go for long walks 3 times a day, but she needs a friend to play with, she'll be happier with the company of another dog. She is a fast runner. She will do well with a dog that is a bit shy like her or that is smaller in size.
