Story
Millie is a 5-year-old dog who will turn 6 in May. She is sweet, friendly, and very loving. She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys being around people. She is well-behaved and does not require a kennel. I typically allow her to roam freely in my apartment while I’m at work and she does great on her own. I am looking to rehome her due to a change in my job and living situation. I will be moving in with a roommate who is allergic to dogs, and my new job will also require frequent travel, meaning I will not be home as much as she deserves. Millie is happiest when she is around people and has companionship, so I would love to find her a home where she can get plenty of attention, love, and playtime. She is a very affectionate dog and would do best with someone who has more time to spend with her.

Dutch is 11 years old. He was rescued approximately 8 years ago. He is a sweet boy who loves walks and belly rubs. Dutch does not have a vicious bone in his body. Unfortunately, he also has extreme separation anxiety. Dutch must be corralled or crated when left alone. He also has been on Fluconazole for several years due to Valley Fever. My husband is a senior adult and I am retired. We don't have the skills or ability to care for him any longer.

Hello everyone! My name is Charlie and I'm a mix pup of approximately 1.5 years old. My family adopted me last year and I love being in my home. Unfortunately, they don't have as much time for me as anticipated. I am looking for a new home. I am a sweetie pie, and I get along great with humans, including children. Knuckles is about 3 years old. He is great with other dogs and small kids. He likes to run around and is also good in the water although he prefers not being in it. He does like his space but he prefers inside. He is good on holding his facilities until morning and does sit but is still learning to stay. He rarely barks but is always alert when in the home and does bark when feels someone is at the door.

Story
Zeus is a gentle, loving dog who’s happiest just being around his person. If you’re sitting down, don’t be surprised if he rests his head in your lap or curls up beside you. He loves affection and is content simply being near his family. He’s house trained, crate trained, and very much an indoor dog. Zeus has a submissive personality and can be shy around other dogs at first, but he’s never aggressive. His favorite thing in the world is fetch. Give him a football and a few minutes of playtime, and he’s a happy dog. A short walk, some affection, and a comfortable place to nap are all he really asks for. Zeus is trustworthy and walks well with a little guidance. Even off leash, he enjoys exploring but will come back when called. He would do best in a home where he’s treated like family and allowed to be indoors. If you’re looking for an affectionate companion who loves fetch and wants to be by your side, Zeus may be the perfect match.

Story
Helen showed up one day on our door step starving and hurt, in need of water and some care in Waco, Texas. We took her in and got her chip scanned (it wasn’t registered) and put her on social media to see if her owners were missing her. Almost a year later, no one has come forward and my husband just took a job in Philadelphia where our new home will not permit pets. She is a very kind dog, was house trained when she showed up and is a great snuggler. She does not like cats and can be a bit skiddish due to her time living on the streets but overall, a good girl. We want her to have the very best home because she is so sweet. We would take her with us if we could.

we call her Annie, she was born Nov 27, 2025. She has started She knows how to use wee wee pads, and go outside w a leash . and she is adorable and calm and sweet deserves a family of her own. She will need an experienced /patient adoptive family. I rescued several small dogs. Belle Starr , is a very petite five month old sweet girl she is indoor wee wee pad trained, she is very shy and skittish until she builds trust , she will do best when the patient adopter message me for an adoption application to be considered, has not been around kids yet, I FEEL SHE NEEDS TO BE ADOPTED TO A FAMILY WITH ANOTHER SMALL DOG FOR HER TO FOLLOW THE LEAD easier transition for her to learn the ropes . Her mom is a shih zu and dad a chiweenie. Text me your email address for an adoption application to be considered 830 237 8588 ✨ Special Adoption Opportunity – Small Chiweenie / Shih Tzu Mixes ✨ We have several of these sweet little rescue babies looking for very special adopters 💛 All of them are fully vetted, but they come from a very unique background. They spent their lives with one elderly owner (a truck driver) and had very limited interaction with the outside world. Because of this, many of them can be skittish and unsure around new people and environments. 🐾 What they’re used to: • Going in and out of a dog door • Sleeping in bed with their person • Living with other small dogs 🐾 What they need: • A patient, committed adopter who understands rescue dogs • A slow transition into their new home • Safe confinement at first (small room + wee wee pads) to build trust • Time to bond at their pace 🚫 These are NOT dogs that can be put straight into a backyard — they are flight risks and can easily get lost if scared. 💡 In my experience, they do BEST in homes that: • Already have another small, confident dog • Are willing to follow guidance and give them time to adjust • Understand that trust is earned, not forced The amazing news? ❤️ Several have already been successfully adopted by families who followed these steps — and they are now thriving in their new lives! These are what I lovingly call my “project babies” — they just need someone willing to give them a chance. If this sounds like the right fit for you, please reach out and I’ll send over an adoption application 🐶💛
