Location: Eden Prairie, MN Bernie is a fluffy, snuggly pup. His favorite place to be is near a person, snuggling on the couch, laying at your feet or being scratched on the top of the head. Bernie’s favorite toy is anything soft that squeaks. He wanders around the house with a toy in his mouth, waiting to be adored! Bernie is mostly potty trained and crate trained. He’s not a fan of his crate and will whine for a bit, but then settles down and sleeps all night/during the workday. But he wouldn’t complain about being adopted by someone who needs company while working from home! Loyalty is Bernie’s strength. He quickly warms up to new people, melting hearts with his soft, brown eyes. He shows a bit of tendency to protect his people from other dogs, so he might be better in a home without other dogs. However, he loves all people and is fine sharing toys and objects with animals and people. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

So you know about my namesake, right?? Well, I guess if you are not a Boomer, maybe not?? Mr Peabody was a dog, with special abilities.. he could talk, reason and even go to school. He got lonely and decided to adopt a boy to be his companion :) And his name was Sherman. They had all kinds of adventures but ALWAYS stuck together! That is what I am looking for now, too.... MY own COMPANION boy or girl! I am kind of a big lug, furry and cute and DEFINITELY the pick of the litter! I am like a big cuddle bug with lots of love and devotion to give you! Apollo is great with dogs & loves people. He's a typical pyr who likes to play but is just as content being a couch potato. Apollo requires a tall, secure wood fence. He sails over a 4 ft fence & climbs anything taller if its a wire fence. He's very intent on seeing what's on the other side or visiting the other side :) You can't blame him, he is named after the Greek God for healing or all the spaceships we have sent into space???
